Cyanide opens new website

Today, Cyanide launched its website for Pro Cycling Manager 2009. It doesn't contain much news - except for the fact that it now seems 100 % sure that the XBOX version will be available this year.

Last year, there was much talk, and an XBOX logo on the official website indicated that a game was in the making. However, it was never released, and there was no other info on the game. This year, there's a few words on the game too:

It'll contain 18 teams, and it'll be possible to play the Tour de France. You still control an entire team, like you do in PCM for PC, and it'll be possible to play it with 4 friends on Live Arcade.

There's a few small screenshots available here. And head over here to see the official website.

Update: And with the new website, there's also a new forum! And that's probably not the worst idea. The old forums hadn't been updated since February 2002 - so, bye to an era of old forums where I was the first to reach 10.000 posts, got banned twice, had my account deleted, and unfortunately a lot more ;)

You can visit the new forums by clicking here.

Damn, Is there a chance the XBOX game will be released on a disk as well as on Live arcade (I don't have live)

The official site says that 15 teams are official Shock
I am lucky that I have a XBOX 360 hopefully I can buy it Smile
I think that someone could buy it also Wink
Ok just the Tour de France but I hope that could be just a small step for a PCM 2010 on XBOX 360 Smile

I have an xbox, so i'll be getting that, but am i the only one that's noticed that with the new forum the functionality has, well, gone. For example, no ladder standings, no GC stats.

I think it's just because of the platform. Instead migrating phpbb2 to phpbb3 and perform a clean-up in the forum, they decide to make a new forum.

Frenchies. They're so smart. Rolling Eyes

Migration was impossible due to specific development to create a link between forums and GameCenter.
#6 | doddy13 on 12. June 2009 17:06
In time, will there be a gamecenter link?
#7 | bdufourd on 12. June 2009 17:14
No, we'll keep the forum independent to be able to upgrade it.
#8 | MarcoPRT on 12. June 2009 17:17
So, will the old forum be deleted after the contents are migrated manually and the site remain only to Gamecenter and Ladder effects?
#9 | doddy13 on 12. June 2009 22:21
Having a site devoted to online stats could be a good idea.

What the hell did you do on that forum CrueTrue?Pfft

The old forums won't be deleted. They will stay available in read only mode.
