So here's our new section, in order to sum up what's happened this week around our Fantasy Betting ;)
Three users were in the lead at the end of this first week in the contest. Our famous jerseymaker cunego111, along with Hasselinhoo and chuckie, profited from Damiano Cunego's victory over Giovanni Visconti and Ivan Basso in the last HC race of the 2008 road season (the Japan Cup) to get maximum benefits from their first 100 PCM$ in the game.
Only few hours earlier, Spain's Riccoen took the first official leadership of the game after predicting Andriy Grivko's triumph at the Firenze - Pistoia time trial. The two cyclocross races in Tabor did not change the provisional outcome that far, with fenian_1234 being the only user able to predict the magnificent victory from Niels Albert in the second leg of the UCI series in Czech Republic. Keep in mind that one event which did start this week hasn't finished yet - the Danish duo Morkov-Rasmussen have found strong contenders on the German couple Kluge-Pollack for the win at the 6 Jours of Grenoble.
Next week's bets will get, as it will happen until next year comes, cyclocross and track events covered. Don't miss anything of the action at the Manchester Velodrome, which hosted the 2008 Track World Championships last spring - the UCI Track World Cup will start in Brit soil! Also, there's a couple of really interesting races at the mud, with the magnificent GvA-trophy's opener - the Koppenbergcross in Oudenaarde - and the second leg of the Superprestige, in Veghel-Eerde. Also another race is to be added this week: the European Championships for u23 riders in LiƩvin, France, to be ridden on Sunday.
Stay tuned, and don't miss any bet to become the best cycling gambler on PCM-earth! Remember you can comment anything on your bets in our special forum for the game. |
