PCM08 Officially Announced
News

As you probably know, the first images of PCM were released a few days ago. And with the pictures we also got the first news about it on the official Pro Cycling Manager website. Therefore, we can now say these things with 100 % certainty:

- There will be 65 official cycling teams
- ... and 180 playable races
- It will be released to PC and PSP - and not a third format which were discussed earlier
- The PSP-version will also feature track racing (like in the PC-version), and it will now also have multiplayer.

Both games will be released in June.

btw, 180 races? I suppose it's a bad thing.

more importantly: When can we expect the first good DB? With luck, let's say the data transfer is an easy one, so....early August?

I was thinking in earlier than that, considering the work that "nuestros hermanos" from PCMSpain have been launching, but only time will tell us that.Grin

Graphics and stages seem not to be compatible anymore, so the DB conversion must be easy whereas the rest does not. Expect real-name DB's to be released even before the game is on the stores, but... great DB's? We'll wait and see. I'm still not sure whether I'll stick to PCM07 or go on to PCM08. I'll make a choice when the beta-testing starts.
