This was, of course, just an April's Fool joke ;)
With the release of the highly anticipated PCMdaily 2008 DB for PCM07, we had a casual interview with one of scandinavian cycling's few truly great riders: Mads Kaggestad.
Waghlon: So i guess we'll start with the two questions that is one everyone's mind these days; How much Pro Cycling Manager do you play, and what is your favorite 2008 DB? Kaggestad: I play pretty much everyday. Many days i prefer playing PCM over actually riding on a bike and training. As for my favorite 2008 DB, i'll have to go with Bouri's; its well-made, bugfree and with some accurate stats for this season.
Waghlon: Are you any good with multiplayer?
Kaggestad: Double scandinavian champion you know... A bit like im the norweigan champion in both cyclocross and on the road.
Waghlon: Lets talk about PCMdaily's 2008 DB, what is your overall impression of it?
Kaggestad: I have nothing but praise for it. Its really a good DB you guys have made. I like the stats especially. They are perfect as far as im concerned.
Waghlon: Even your own?
Kaggestad: Allright, not that perfect. I could use a couple of more points in both hills and mountain. Plus i really think i deserve at least 86 COB.
Waghlon: That hasn't been possible since CyM2 or 3 though...
Kaggestad: Not really a problem to be honest. Its just a matter of changing a value in a column to 86 and hoping the game can handle it.
Waghlon: So, how's your career these days?
Kaggestad: Perfect as ever. Great salary, great team and all that. Its all showed realistically in the DB.
Waghlon: Will you be playing it?
Kaggestad: Of course.
And on that bombshell, we should mention that you can download the beta of the PCMdaily 2008 DB and experience just how good it really is. I mean, Mads Kaggestad cant possibly be wrong. |
