Birthday Aftermath: Quiz Winner!
Thanks everyone for participating in our celebration of our anniversary yesterday! I hope you liked our "big announcement" and our new Christmas initiatives :P We also had a quiz where you could win a cycling jersey, and the results are in, and a winner has been found. Several crew members also tried their luck, but of course, these will not be "included" when we announce the winner.
1. Which active crew-members were in the initial "line-up" (when the site opened)? This question was pretty easy and without any "surprises", meaning that the answer is: CrueTrue, Alex153 and Dankan. Dankan did leave the crew for a few months, though, but returned about 1 month ago.
2. How many members did PCM.daily have on the 13th of March, 2007? Not any surprises here, either. The correct answer was any number between 711 and 729, since that was the amount of members we had on that day.
3. Who won the PCM.daily League for PCM06? Many got this one right. Chuck won easily.
4. Who won PCM.daily's Member of the Year-award in 2006/2007? Most got this one correct, too. SportingNonsense won the very first Member of the Year-award.
5. How many crew members have been on board since the opening of PCM.daily? The tricking thing here is "since the opening". Before we opened, we did have a few members who weren't here when we finally opened. These were: Nature, Ivan_Basso_Fan and JustinWK. Therefore, these were not included in the answer. Instead, the answer was 11 (CrueTrue, cmfos, Alex153, Dankan, Ruben, Panaflex, Addy291, SportingNonsense, Crommy, Wildcat and Aab-ern). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't name more ;)
6. On which date did member #1000 register? Many used cmfos' 1000 member celebration thead "Congrats CrueTrue" to find the correct answer - and that was the correct way. Member #1000 registered on the 22nd of March. One said that it was on the 21st, probably because raggamuffin, who registered on the 21st, has member number #1000. However, that system doesn't take deleted memberships (f.e. old test members and spam bots) into account.
7. What thread is the one with the most replies? There was several ways to figure this out. You could look through all the topics, or you could use the hidden feature, "the toplist". The answer is the Tour de France 2007-thread which has received 1927 replies.
8. What's the most viewed screenshot? You could look through all the screenshots, or you could use the hidden feature, "the toplist". The answer is "Stats, sorted by average skill" which has been viewed 4885 times.
9. Who was the first to register on the opening day? I don't know why this was so difficult to many. Once again, if you used the toplist you could easily see Shipley is the "oldest" member - the first to register on the opening day.
10. How many forum posts have been posted at PCM.daily (at 13:09 GMT yesterday)? Well, you could add up all the numbers in the forum overview, but that wouldn't be enough. There's also two hidden forums, one for adminstrators and one for me alone ;) The correct answer was 60943 posts, and the member who came the closest (not counting crew members) was MarcoPRT who guessed 61773.
.... So, who won? The same guy who won our last guy -- issoisso takes the 2nd quiz in row and wins a cycling jersey of his choice! He got 6 correct answers. SportingNonsense got 8 correct, but as said, he's in the crew and is not "allowed" to win ;) The 2nd place is splitted between JustinWK, MarcoPRT and Mrlol who all got 5 right. And let's all laugh at Addy291, PCM.daily's crew member, who only managed to get 3 right.
