Management game in Full Swing! We are well underway in the management game and with April done, tomorrow sees the Tour of Romandie and the start of the Giro d'Italia. If youve been away and missed out on the results, check out the March Magazine and April Review. JustinWk's Ag2r are the current leaders, but are only 5 points ahead of Alex153's Lampre. Unfortunately, only 14 of our teams have been competing due to Christian Bruun, Guido Mukk, Smoothie, Bjartne and Wardstaf failing to send in their teamlists (You can still send it in now and compete in the remainding races!)
TDF v PCM Ended Prematurely My TDFvPCM project has been ended prematurely with the conclusion that PCM really isnt very realistic. As far as I can remember, in 12 stages with 3 seperate databases, we only got the correct winner twice. Cancellara winning the prologue in SNDeluxe and Boonen winning Stage 12 with the GCT DB. Vinokourov and Moreau held the yellow jerseys at the end of Stage 12, which kind of sums up the poor reflection on reality. Basically, I did not really have enough time for it, and decided there was little point carrying on.
PPDB v3 Coming Soon! It has been announced on the PPDB forum that version 3 of PPDB will hopefully be released within the next few days. If you are registered on PPDB's forum, you can view the list of updates in this topic, and if youre not registered - look at this topic.
Stories Update Smoothie has taken the PCM07: Stories forum by storm with his Virgin Media Pro Cyling Team topic - it has already got to his 4th page, yet Smoothie has not began reporting yet. We are all looking forward to reading his first ever story. Christian Bruun has also invented a new team for a PCM07 Story, It is a Danish continental team called gothosted.dk. A_Schleck has not invented a team in his story, in which he writes about his impressive Team CSC Career.
We also have some very good PCM06 Stories running at the moment. JustinWK with the Japanese Nippo team, and Guido Mukk with the Discovery Channel team. Crommy's Allan Smile's 'adventures' in Canada have currently been put in hold, due to technical problems with Crommy's game.
Cycling Photos We can all express our jealous feelings to bencurfs, who has submitted many pictures of himself with cyclists at the 2006 Eneco tour, he also has pictures of him training with Tom Boonen and even pictures from staying at Boonen's Monaco house! He has also submitted many pictures from la Colombiere, the stage which was won by Linus Gerdemann.
Titan05 - PCM07 Edition In what is definately one of the largest databases so far, T-Photon is attempting to make a 2005 database for the 2007 Game. The first few screenshots from the project can be found here . Unfortunately this is one of only a few databased not made by the french. But if you can speak french, there appears to be plenty of projects on the cyanide forum .
