The PCM.daily Database Team is proud to release the 2017 database, with unfortunately a bit of a delay. Nevertheless, at this point, we can provide the most up to date experience for the world of cycling in the year 2017.
Our database consists of no less than 128 teams of WT, PCT, CT and U23 level, all of which have up to date rosters and completely accurate stats thanks to our stat team. However, if you don't really care about playing with Continental or U23 teams, we have also included a light cdb in the download, allowing you to play a stripped down career mode, aimed towards WT savegames, that also removes half the races and trims the palmares a bit. Over 3800 riders are part of the database, which means there are over 1700 free agents to add an extra experience to possible custom teams and future transfers. All riders have the most up-to-date national championships and popularities. For young regen riders, stats have undergone a big revision making the rider types more diverse and realistic. The amount of regens per region has become more realistic as well. Other unrealistic names have been changed as well, meaning that Cya News is no longer a thing for you.
To make sure racing can be enjoyed even more, we have added three new difficulties to the game, meaning that you can race at the exact level you want to. We have updated graphics for not only the real teams, but also for fantasy teams. More than 700 custom sponsors will color up your game even more, all in HD quality. Many of these teams also have packs with accessories, national championship jerseys and more. Dozens of real equipment brands have been added, meaning that the fake names are history. In the race, Jacky Durand’s sponsorkits will also be visible. Also outside the racing, graphics have been changed. Most riders have a photo now, custom newspapers have been added and logos are more realistic.
The races themselves have also been updated. Almost all races have their real routes, and we have added 90 new races to make the total nearly 400. On top of that, several races have variants, meaning that you won’t ride the same Tour de France every year. And if the variants we have included in the base download aren't enough for you, you can always download the Variants DLC we've also released! clamel’s xml files have been added so that the results in terms of bonifications and secondary classifications are more realistic than ever. We have updated much more than this, and the best way to find out all about this is obviously to give this database a go!
