1.7.1.0 Game Patch Available

Yet another patch for PCM 16, 1.7.1.0, has been released just a few minutes ago. The replay function, which has been really requested by a few users, has been added back. The multiplayer navigation has been improved and so has the general stability. The full changelog really is just 3 lines long so I'll post it here:

  • Improved stability.
  • Added replay player at the end of a stage race.
  • Tweaked the multiplayer navigation.

Don't forget to open Steam to update the game.

It seems the update screwed up my game. Now I can't start it - there is an error message of a currupted filed and that game cache should be verifyed in steam.

Never happened for me before.

After a restart the game can now load, but only to a black screen with no menu options.

Anyone else experienced that?

Try verifying the game cache in steam as the message says. If you installed a db, you'll have to reinstall it after it has been verified and the game files restored.

Now for once, they did the right thing in returning the replay feature.

Ive noticed after installing this patch, the PCMEP, when searching nationalities has about 3 blank options before Albania. This did not occur before in the previous patch. Will the game be affected?

It's because Local.cdb got replaced. Copy the local.cdb you can find in the pcmdaily backup folder inside of the database folder and overwrite.
