Rider Training Calculator — a small browser tool for planning stat training.

As someone PMed me and asked if it was possible to make a quick tool for it, hopefully this will work Smile

Pick a team, choose a maxed rider, and use +/- on a stat to see the training cost instantly, plus the rider's new OVL and new PT/PCT/CT RD.

[*]Uses the 2026 cost rules: a +1 is priced by the higher of the rider's rounded OVL and the new stat value
[*]Low-stat exemption priced by the new value up to 69 (doubles for a 2nd increase in the same stat)
[*]Enforces max 2 increases per rider + a low-exemption counter for the team limit
[*]MidMountain auto-updates as ⌈(Mountain+Hill)/2⌉ when you train Mountain/Hill
[*]Live new OVL and PT/PCT/CT RD
[*]Runs locally — 2026 Post Renewals DB built in, or load your own database file

Please inform me if you find any issues Smile

I see one potential issue that I might just be misunderstanding but wanted to flag. I think the tool is currently stacking multiple trainings in a way such that it uses the new OVL after the first training as the basis for the second.

That's jibberish, so to illustrate:

- Say I want to train Hellemose's downhill from 71 to 72. Since his current rounded average (74) is higher than the new stat, that cost is used (450k).

- Say I then also decide to train his mountain to 76. The cost for 76 is used (600k) since it's higher than his current average. This change increases his OVL such that it now rounds to 75.

- The issue is, this change also seems to bump the cost of his downhill training up to 500k—it's using the new average (75) as the base cost. I don't think that's correct given that the average method of training relates to the rider's "current average." If I first train Hellemose in downhill while he is currently 74 OVL, I think it costs 450k regardless of his subsequent mountain training. The additional mountain training wouldn't affect that because it only changes the new OVL, not the current.

I'm asking this here, but it's really a clarification of the rule, so any insight would be helpful!

It used to be the actual OVL of the stat at the time of training, this making it important to train in the correct order. I have done that many times in the past.
