It’s the last day of work for the future stars and domestiques, with a lovely ride around Annecy, finishing in Semnoz. The main other difficulty will be the Mont Revard, but there are smaller climbs on the way.

8 riders got away in the Côte du Puget (cat. 3, 5,9 km, 5,6%): Meehan, Holzer, Forbes, Menshov, Sheffield, Mikutis, Van Vliet and Arrieta. Nobody in the break can challenge the latter polka dots, so it’ll be a duel from afar between him and the yellow jersey.
