The big news of our renewals is that Eduard Grosu will be entering the 2025 transfers season as a free agent. Even though he has been a very important part in our team's history and one of the riders that kept us afloat in the last years, the team management became annoyed with Grosu's failure to win the jersey in the Tour de France 2 years in a row despite having a team entirely dedicated to him. That and Grosu's refusal to take a significant pay cut given his age decline saw us parting ways. We wish Eduard all the best in his future adventures!
We do not enter the transfer season with a clear intention of selling anyone, but depending on what riders became available and what opportunities arise some guys might be leaving after all.

Seems like a pretty calm transfer season ahead on the selling end. Interested to see what you cook up with all that cap space!

Plenty of space to add in a huge leader to take the reigns from Grosu, who is a huge loss but sometimes riders don't view their value like yourself after decline!
From next year training is looking like the huge focus as long as you can maintain your PT spot!
Best of luck mate!

Pretty surprised to see Grosu released even just 1 year past his prime, but yeah, with sprinters having fantasy wages in mind in recent years, definitely understandable. Looking forward to see how you replace him, and potentially Formolo (who I'd have been very interested in if he was a couple of years younger ).
With your young core, the future should look bright no matter what this season brings - as long as you stay up of course. But with the right moves, that should be no issue. Good luck!

A good mix of the future with Evenepoel (That recovery though, ouch) and Kooij and a strong present with Gerts. I love his Hill/Cobble combo! Will be interesting to see how you build with Formolo and Van Poppel most likely leaving

Not sure I was ever in the MG in a time where you didn't have Grosu and already as a star too. Very weird not seeing him in your lineup, and seeing him in the FA tab. Interested what the plan is for your open salary space

Quite surprised to see Grosu go as he should still be a very solid sprinter. Obviously the wage could be too high to keep him.
Still a very solid setup, where it will be very interesting to see Evenepoel smashing everyone I'd suspect. Can't wait to see which path you pick for him in the future. Also interested to see if Champoussin is ready to take over from Formolo.

I remember reporting some huge Grosu failures, so it's a bit of a relief to probably see your colours in other situations next season. But in total it seems you're looking for another rather quiet transfers.

Seeing Grosu leaving like that always leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Such an iconic connection with your team it's hard to see it go by without feeling for that fallout. Hopefully it'll give you an opportunity to thrive in other directions.
Looking at your availability list I may just want to have a word with you. Not for Remco though, I'll leave him for quadsas!

I remember you availabilities being even lesser than this earlier, so this is an 'improvement' Guess the team is mostly set to try to improve on last season's performance!

Thanks for the comments, guys.
I had already thought about selling Grosu last year, but the idea of having a Romanian in green on the Champs Elysees was too tempting.
I feel like the decline really hit him hard since his back up stats were never impressive to begin with and they got even worst now. So, I figured for him to be attractive to others teams this season he must have a very good wage (which he didn't accept) as I expected to see a lot of good sprinters in the FA (this was even before Gaviria became one lol).
As for the availabilities, I guess I am too conservative with my roster. But, I might go crazy this season and sell Formolo as well
At this point, I don't think even a relegation would be too bad with Remco, Champoussin and (a then maxed) Kooij should bring us right back in the PT. So, who knows maybe I'll risk a little, though never relegating from PT sounds quite nice.

It looks like this season is a real changing of the guards moment for Rabobank: Grosu (temporarily) gone, Gerts aging and Formolo (somewhat) available. I'm sure I am not the only one excited to see just what a maxed Remco can achieve - although he is set to face stiff competition in the form of Dunbar and Wirtgen. My personal hope is the Champoussin is encouraged down a climber pathway, giving Kron an opportunity to shine.

Shame to see Grosu leave, but completely understandable in the circumstances. I think you're quite well setup for the future with the talents you have, and the transition starting from your old leaders to the new.
