--- Introducing ---
POLDERSTRIJDERS
“WARRIORS OF THE FLATLANDS”
Hi, and nice to meet you!
As a new 2025 continental team the POLDERSTRIJDERS are excited to join the world of PCMDAILY MAN-GAME! Hope to get to know all you fellow cycling geeks. I’m still new to the game so hopefully I’m doing this right and any help is welcome
Only warriors with strength, courage and strong legs have what it takes to become a POLDER STRIJDER. The riders are used to strong winds and everlasting flatlands. Hence they are experts at Northern Classics with cobbles, flat stages with sprints and TT.
The POLDERSTRIJDERS is a Netherlands and Belgium focused, but not exclusive, team. If you have a youngster (ideally Dutch or Belgian) with good FLAT, SPRINT and/or COB value(s) and looking for a continental team to develop them, drop me a PM!
ON TO A GREAT SEASON EVERYONE!
FRANK - TEAM MANAGER

Looks good! Seems like you have a look for your team in mind and know what sort of riders would interest you the most. Can certainly make some of the things that can be tricky in the first season like goals or race selection a bit easier.
Good luck!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Welcome on board, seemed like the cobbled squads in the CT were pretty weak last year so might be a good niche to be in.

Welcome! Love to see a cobbles-focused team join the fold, as I feel those are some of the most fun races to follow (which is why I've also invested in them a lot over the years).

Welcome to the game Loving the graphics you've put up. Excited to see how another Northern Classics based team can do, as we haven't had one of those in a while!

It seems you have a clear idea with the cobbles. One I considered as well. Will be interesting to follow you. |

Welcome! Love the strong team identity you've building and going for - and love the jersey
Classics based teams can work very well in CT, interested to see how you build your squad

Welcome to the show! Reading the introduction definitely brought up some Crabpack vibes, with Crabbe dominating the CT cobbles in their debut season - Laurens must have some great memories of that year
All the best for your first season (and the hopefully many to come after that)

Those are some stunning graphics
I love a classics focused team and I agree that those tend to do pretty well at CT level. We might not talk much during transfers since I don't really have riders that fit your team's identity. But I'm looking forward to following your project

Looking absolutely brilliant, with awesome graphics already. I wish I was able to do fancy banners like that and not just my regular PowerPoint-ish graphics
I used to have Benelux riders in my roster, but not anymore. I'm sure we'll chat regardless, as it seems like you have a great introduction in the game already.
A big welcome! Buckle up though. Transfers are usually hectic for new guys

Welcome to the game! As a fellow (partly) Belgian team with a strong focus on cobbles, I'm sure we will talk during transfers and maybe find an opportunity or two to collaborate

I suspect you might be able to do them if you input the right prompts into the right AI image generator I agree that they look great, though, a very nice start to an HQ!

Welcome to the game! I've had fun with a Belgian team in CT last season, and there should be some interesting ex-Duvet-Tsingtao riders in the free agent pool and potentially available during transfers for a conversation or two. Best of luck

Welcome! Really enjoyed the graphics and the HQ so far, and cool to see you come in with a clear focus and plan for your first transfers - excited to see how you go about it
While I haven't done my availability post yet, sadly I have to say Vermeersch is off limits. Not sure if we'll have much to do with each other now I've said that, but who knows
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."
