Air New Zealand will have their hopes on the duo of Tom Scully and Nur Aiman Zariff. Top-15 should be a reasonable goal.
| | | | | | | | | | Assa Abloy | PCT |
Last name | First name | Country | Age | FL | RS | RC | SP | AC | | Dainese | Alberto | ITA | 25 | 76 | 76 | 79 | 81 | 82 | | Gibbons | Ryan | RSA | 29 | 75 | 72 | 73 | 78 | 78 | | Hoole | Daan | NED | 24 | 69 | 73 | 67 | 68 | 68 | | Konychev | Alexander | ITA | 25 | 82 | 78 | 73 | 76 | 75 | | Magnusson | Kim | SWD | 31 | 74 | 69 | 71 | 65 | 73 | | Rickaert | Jonas | BEL | 29 | 78 | 75 | 73 | 75 | 73 | | Van Aert | Bernard | INA | 26 | 71 | 71 | 69 | 71 | 72 | | Veyhe | Torkil | FAR | 29 | 80 | 71 | 69 | 56 | 78

★☆☆☆☆
French based Bordeaux Métropole didn't bring a sprinter. They rely on the breakaways, maybe go for the KOM jersey?
| | | | | | | | | | Bralirwa - Stevens | PCT |
Last name | First name | Country | Age | FL | RS | RC | SP | AC | | Hadi | Janvier | RWA | 31 | 68 | 70 | 71 | 74 | 71 | | Mugisha | Samuel | RWA | 26 | 76 | 74 | 71 | 62 | 68 | | Silvestre | Fabio | POR | 33 | 77 | 69 | 72 | 79 | 79 | | Teggart | Matthew | IRL | 27 | 73 | 73 | 71 | 72 | 70 | | Willems | Jago | BEL | 22 | 68 | 73 | 60 | 72 | 72 | | Young | Darren | SAM | 32 | 71 | 72 | 71 | 72 | 72
★★☆☆☆
Fabio Silvestre leads Bralirwa - Stevens in the sprints, with only 5 riders in support. Top-10 seems a nice goal for them.

★★☆☆☆
Crabbe-CC Chevigny brings Emils Liepins as their leader. Similar stats like Scully, should aim for a top-15 GC.
| | | | | | | | | | DK Zalgiris | PCT |

Stanislaw Aniolkowski got his first win of the season in Juarez where he won the opening stage. Definitely one to keep an eye on for GC.

Another race favourite with Arnaud Demare. Tryg-Gobik will look for a repeat from Tour Down Under where he won GC and points.

Looking forward to the lottery here. We lucked out in Juarez so can’t be too disappointed Ted if things don’t go our way here - in saying that, would still love Abdul Halil to continue his great start to the season here
Every sprinter in PCT has come out to the Caribbean for this one, hopefully tall the top guys get involved and put in a few good performances.
Thanks for the lovely detailed preview!

Manninen definitely being looked at even more in the peloton after his recent Juarez victory, let's hope he can still perform decently and end in the top-5. Hoping guys like Dainese, Groenewegen and Vesely can get at least one strong result and finish high in the GC as well. Thanks for the great preview, Laurens!

Spot on for our description! Bringing Guerao was useless last season, and he's worst now, so relying on sprints isn't a good idea. Breaks and youngster training!
Thanks for the preview and the coming reports, good luck everyone!

One of the couple of sprint stage races left on our calendar after Silvestre's decline. Obviously I don't expect a repeat of last year's podium, I'll be happy with a Top 10 overall and maybe a Top 5 stage result or two. Let's see what happens, good luck everyone!

Let's hope the good sprinters do well here. And maybe Bonifazio.

We were lucky in Juarez - but I'm still glad we skipped that one. One lottery per year is enough.
Agreeing with Ollfardh, hopefully the top sprinters will also come out on top here. Especially Groenewegen and Dainese were unlucky in Mexico, would be nice to see them fight for 2nd here.
Because 1st goes to Matti, who else
Thanks for the preview!

Thanks for the preview! We bring our full sprint setup here and on paper have one of the better trains, although with the weaker spearhead.

Sent Walscheid to all these races knowing he would be outmatched, but hoping to get lucky in one of them. Not a great strategy but you can't win the lottery if you don't play.

Its not a good sign that I am pleased other teams have better leadouts than we do!
I hope for the integrity of the game good sprinters with good leadouts are rewarded, and if not Zabel will be lurking at the back to take advantage.
If the racing is a good as the preview we will be fine, great work Laurens.

We have better support here for Vesely then Juarez which hopefully means they can stick around with him for longer in the leadouts and put him into a good spot for the sprints. Not exactly how pcm ai always thinks but fingers crossed.
Thanks for the preview Laurens

Thanks for the preview to Laurens, it's always nice to see every teams squad in detail.
You've pretty much nailed our chances with Russo, if he can snatch some top 10 results to get some time bonuses and some GC points (though technically he even has a leadout with Jiang). Apart from that we're expecting our riders in the breaks and maybe go for the KoM points (and maybe a minor U25 position if our youngsters get some time bonuses from the break). And given our previous races anything but a stage podium by Karatsivis would be a disappointment

Won't complain.
When claiming this long unclaimed race, I had expected to get another Juarez, so why not pick a race I am in... Seeing the sprint here was weird as it was done not ideal with all the waiting and preparation but in the end the result is pretty solid.
Maybe Vesely too far down or Bonifazio but compared to earlier sprints, rock solid.
Seeing Groenewegen winning here obviously is great. A pity he should have been capable to do so in the HC rated Juarez where be went for a 0 pointer but C1 points must do I guess as promotion is in huge danger seeing the team already had like 14-20 0 pointer race days with actual race scoring material. So any points scored are vital now.
Thanks for the preview Lauren's. |

Rigged I demand a review of that photo finish
Special end to the stage with the absence of lead-outs, but seems like that means the results are a bit more realistic. Starting off with a second place among the superstars is a great start for Matti, I hope he can be consistent in the following stages. Congratulations roturn! And thank you roturn!

I mean, the gaps are incredibly weird but overall Groenenwegen - Manninen - Demare is a solid podium. At least it will be hard for Bonifazio to miss out on the top 22 now.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

We made the gap with Coutinho, which is about the only positive to make from this. Thanks for the report and congrats on the win Roturn
