Adding rider in database

Hi all,

I have not played PCM since 09. I need a guide to show me how to change a database to add a rider and change existing stats. Anyone able to help?

You need an editor - I recommend the fast editor or lachi's execl editor if you are good with excel. Those can be found in the download links, you may have to look back a few versions to find them.

Open the officialrelease.cdb from the databse you are editing.

Then go to the table called dyn_cyclist and add a row and populate the fields. The fields are pretty self explanatory, you can look at other riders.

That is a little out of date and uses an editor that I don't think works anymore so you can't follow the specific instructions but it covers all the steps and you can do all the same things using the editors I mention above

If you are editing a save game that is a little more complicated, I would start by doing it in a new database. As you work on it post specific questions here and someone will help.
