I am proud to present the newest Continental Team to join the world racing circuit, Adidas-Eurocash.
In recent years, German cyclists have been experiencing less consistent success in big races as a country with Germany's rich history and resources would expect to have.
This German team was formed with the goal to focus on the development of young German riders, to restore the nation to their former cycling glory.
This team was formed largely due to the ambition of our title sponsor, the athletic apparel giant, Adidas. Originally a footwear company, Adidas was formed by two German brothers in 1924, and a century later, the brand is the second most lucrative of its kind in the world. Today, Adidas' executives have been trying to increase their reach to German youth in sports and this cycling team is apart of that movement.
To form this team, Adidas partnered with Polish joint-stock conglomerate Eurocash, for some extra cash ! This team is incredibly well backed, but don't intend to make all of their money available for sport use ASAP. Adidas-Eurocash's directeurs sportifs intend to allow their squad of young talent to develop naturally before ascending to the WT level hopefully within 3-7 seasons.
Riders, kit and more info to come. Also, I really don't know what I'm doing, so if anyone has any suggestions for my next step, feel free to pm. Help a brother out! I'm super excited to be here though! This is sick! |

Welcome to the game. As someone who took their time getting promoted I like a long-term plan.

Welcome! Very interesting background for your team, will follow it closely. Good luck with your off season planning and eventual transfer shenanigans too! Feel free to reach out to me (or anyone else really) if you have any questions

Welcome! Obviously it's great to have more new teams supporting and developin g german cycling culture but that also means the battle becomes harder
But for now I am optimistic and maybe we can also just support each other and gain something from this situation.
Best luck and huge success (as long as you are behind me ) to you and your team!

Welcome on board, and as other say, great to have a long-term project! From a new CT team to PT in 3 years sounds pretty ambitious still (although Los Pollos just showed us it's doable), but 7 years looks like a realistic horizon. Hopefully you'll keep motivation high even through drought periods!
Personally, I'd obviously have preferred another non-European team, with the competition for Swiss/German/Austrian/French/Italian riders getting even tougher now I do however like your secondary focus on Poland, maybe we'll have some talks this year already
Good luck & have fun!

More warfare in the German market. We'll see some hard fought battles in free agency, I'm sure Good luck! |

At least, the French market won't be the only one to be tough!

*intense glares from literally right across the street*
If Adidas management intended to use the phrase that "German cyclists have been experiencing less consistent success in big races" to point out the fact that Puma rider Silvio Herklotz only finished in a disappointing second place in the 2019 Giro d'Italia despite winning the 2018 Vuelta a España, the 2020 Tour de France, the 2020 World Road Race Championships, the 2021 Giro d'Italia and the 2022 Tour de France...
...then yeah, I'd agree.
(Apart from that, welcome and good luck (in moderation)! You went head-first into picking the most intense feud possible.)

Welcome! The CT is great fun. Liking to the sponsors and clear intent to pick-up various central European riders. Enjoy yourself, and ignore anyone who's trying to scare you about rivalries or competitive markets.

Man, the German market is becoming really (over)saturated, that's not going to make it easier in transfers for any of us But I like the sponsor choice and while it will take some time to compete on equal footing against Puma, that is a fun rivalry indeed! Looking forward to seeing what you do in transfers, good luck!

Wow! After reading all these responses I have a lot of emotions...
1. Thank you for the positive welcome, I'm super excited to be here
2. I'm ready and armed for the German transfer warfare. Gonna be intense, so the core of the team might not be completely german from the start.
3. AWWW YEAH, Puma are now my rivals, going down in the future! |

As cio has already pointed out my first thought about this team was that one day this could be an insane rivalry with Puma. Awesome you seem so hyped and also with the long-term in mind, with that spirit I hope one day you can get there. For now though I am looking forward to what you can do in year one

Welcome to the game. Had German sponsors at one point, so it's still a region I like to keep a track of. All the best for your first season and hopefully you'll get to compete against your arch rivals soon enough

Great addition to the game, and what a way to start with a high class rivalry with one of the best teams in the game :-D

Welcome in the CT! It's indeed a nice jersey too see in the races.
Good luck in your first transfer season, it will be mayhem (but real fun, in its own way).

You picked the right rivals, not like they are actually a good PT team or something
Welcome to the game! Liking your sponsor picks as well and liking the jersey with the German tricolore-Adidas logo as well. Hope your first transfer season is one where you both learn for the coming years while also acquiring some fun riders/talents you'll be using for seasons to come
