Any other team than ELCO winning this would be a big surprise. Let’s just hope that everybody will be here to work for Farantakis.

Five amateurs went up the road, with the professional teams already organized behind them.

The 25 years old wins the greek national championship for ELCO, but there maybe will be some talks in the bus. Stavrakakis and Kortsidakis follow in that order. Farantakis is best of the rest.

Vlatos worked hard in the road race, but he should still be the favourite by far.

Yesterday’s winner, Villa, is the first to go. He shouldn’t be the surprise today. Spanopoulos is the first to set a strong time. But on the 2nd time-check, he’s beaten by at least Farantakis and Kiriakidis.
Meanwhile, Vlatos is on the road.

Christapopoulos is the rider closest to put an end to ELCO’s dominance, though he’s 30 seconds behind Vlatos on the 1st time check. It’s up to 50’’ on the 2nd time check. Nobody is even close to the greek specialist of the discipline.

And in the end, Vlatos wins by more than 1 minute!
