Thanks to cunego for coming up with this new award. I think it's gonna be a hit for many years, and it helped me remember a lot of great (And bizarre) moments.

Girmay's victory followed by the cork accident is too funny for me to pass up.

I think that the moment that will remembered (and promoted) for decades will be the moment when Vingegaard waited for Pogacar. It is a bit of romantic cycling in the 21st century and for many people it will act as a reference.

Vingegaard waiting for Pogacar is what made me think of this award, so that has my vote, but I think Jumbo v Pogacar as well as Girmay v Cork are terrific choices. It'll be interesting to follow this upcoming season with this award in the back of my head, thinking about what might end up on this list next year.

Yeah, I definitely agree that this is an award best contested when you've been looking for it all year. So next year's should be really fun. Smile
