A bunch of riders could leave this year. Please do not take this as an exhaustive list of the riders we would allow to leave during transfers. Come at me with any offers you have, even if some guys are less likely to leave than others. Just don't take offense if you are rebuked. For full information on availability, please visit our HQ post.
Nevertheless, here are three guys who are among the most likely to leave. All are on great wages for their skill level.

Larry Warbasse has been up, down, and up again with Carlsberg, but his tenure is likely coming to a close. He was the leader of the team's promotion campaign in 2020, when he took GC victories in the Tour of Eritrea and Tour de Langkawi. His consistent results throughout the year at all levels earned him 6th in the CT Individual Standings that year. Prior to that, he showed tremendous form in the 2019 Tour of America, taking a mountain stage and 2nd overall. While was more anonymous last season as a secondary leader in the shadow of Rasmus Guldhammer, he's looking to bounce back now.
His skills have not diminished, but several young talents are emerging at Carlsberg this year with similar skillsets, making Warbasse expendable. He is still an amazing CT leader and a terrific PT depth stage racer. We will consider both money and swap deals.

Sinkeldam, pictured above winning the C1 Macskako Kerekparverseny in 2020, has definitely been around the block during his years with Carlsberg. He's been a loyal lieutenant to top cobbles riders such as Pieter Vanspeybrouck and Frederik Nolf, often overachieving in that secondary role. He's also been a tremendous leader in his own right in CT. He consistently puts up hundreds of points a year.
It's true that he is getting up their in age, but his skills still hold up. His bread and butter has always been his versatility as a cobbles guy who is also a good puncheur, and that talent is still there. This is critical for a cobbles rider because it means that when his cobbled days are done, he still is a worthwhile domestique in stage races and hilly classics. We believe he will be a great helper at any level, and he is still a potential CT leader.

Lander is a really strong rider who Carlsberg always coveted. Unfortunately we're just not sure he's the right fit. As a very strong sprinter and flat beast who can get over the cobbles well, he has a very cool niche. He should have the freedom to fill it, but unfortunately Carlsberg always rosters a true cobbles leader. This means he ends up doing domestique grunt work instead of maximizing his own scoring and opportunities. Nevertheless, he had several good results last year, including a stage win in the Tour de Pologne.
If we move him, we're looking to put him in a spot where he'll be able to lead some races that fit his rider type. Swaps will be entertained.

Larry Warbasse has a leading bid of 550k right now, as well as interest from several managers in the 650k-700k range. He's also had interest in swap deals. At this point, I'm confident he's leaving, just a matter of the destination. So get in touch!
Nothing concrete yet for Sinkeldam, who is still a very quality classics rider at any level. Same for Sebastien Lander, who with good planning could really excel in his niche and score highly for his cheap wage.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy
Larry will be leaving! Current offer is 750k with a talent involved. Get in touch ASAP if you want to significantly increase that offer.
Ramon Sinkeldam - 76 Cob, 74 Hill
No offers yet. We'd be willing to keep him most years, but based on the direction our team is going, we think it makes more sense for him to find a home elsewhere. Would be a great superdom or secondary leader for a CT promotion push, for example. Looking for around 200k.
Sebastian Lander - 79 Spr, 77 Flat, 73 Cob
Quite similar story for Lander. He fills a cool niche, and with proper planning should be very successful, but we don't think that spot is here. He also had PCT sprint wins last year and is a true flat beast in that regard, which has proven very well suited to the current engine. On a very good wage for his OVL too. No starting price, all interest will be considered, including swaps.
Additionally, we would like to add Kasper Asgreen to the discussion.

Asgreen is a pure puncheur, just 27 years old! He loves to attack, as he has done at every stage of his development for me. On minimum wage as well, so ideal domestique in terms of value. We're not sure he will be sold, but let us know if you have any interest!
Sinkeldam - Still not close to a deal. If you just got a cobbles leader in any division, this guy is the right hand man you want for him. His versatility comes in handy quite a lot.
Lander - Not close to a deal either, though at this point we're seriously considering keeping him on for another season if we don't get a solid offer.
Asgreen - We may be willing to take a pretty low bid here I think. Just let us know if you have interest.

Fred is a young, versatile talent on minimum wage. He could be developed a number of ways, and in any case will become a Swiss army knife type of rider, helping on all terrains and going in breakaways. Since we already have a couple of guys like that, and he doesn't fit our regional focus, we're looking to move him to a team that could use him better. Again, he's available for only the 50k minimum, and since he was a stag last year, he's very easy to get 1>3 in CT or PCT. Swaps also considered for a more regional talent.
Alternatively, we could keep Wright and field offers for Joel Suter, a similar talent currently at level 3. However, we're definitely gonna need a bigger fee to go in that direction.
Hit me up on Skype or PM with any interest in the above!
Edit: There's been some interest in Matteo Trentin as well. We will only sell him if we can get a suitable replacement at worthwhile margins. So, he's probably unlikely to move, and it would be especially difficult for us to take any riders back in a swap deal unless it was for another cobbler. But feel free to hit us up with any ideas anyway, as there may still be ways to work it out.

All of the above still holds, but we're thinking creatively about new opportunities.
We have our entire loan cap available, and we would like to use it in an interesting way. Specifically, we are currently considering the possibilities of involving maxed riders in loan deals.
Say you have a good rider on 200k wage. You think you're gonna sit mid table with or without this rider. So, he's somewhat expendable for this year, but you don't want to sell him long term. We would split the wage 100k/100k, and I would pay you a significant fee to obtain that rider's services for the year.
On the other side, we are considering a similar move for Alex Aranburu (77/77 mtn/hill). He is on a 150k wage, which is already very good for his ability. We could split this wage 75k/75k, with you adding a substantial fee on top. This would greatly improve your team for the season with very little wage cost, which could be critical if you're trying to build a promoter or avoid relegation while managing other financial obligations.
So in essence, contact us if you have interest in one of these possibilities:
1.) Loaning us a significant rider with a wage split and fee going your way
2.) Loaning in Aranburu with a wage split and paying us a significant fee
Obviously no guarantees if you have an idea with this. Really just about value and the specifics riders/money involved, but we'd love to talk about it!
Fred Wright has been sold. You can make a significant overbid if you'd like, but we're very happy with where he's ending up.

Sinkeldam has had his first decline, but he's still a very valuable cobbles domestique for his wage, mostly due to his excellent hill. He scored significantly in PCT last year as a lieutenant, and he could score more in CT. He would also be a very trustworthy and versatile domestique in PT or PCT still.
Still no concrete offers. He's going to be leaving one way or another, so jump in while you can get him on the cheap.
Ramon Sinkeldam has a deal in place. Thread can be found below. He's going for only 100k right now. We'll accept overbids, but do it sooner rather than later if you're interested.
We're still looking for interesting ideas on how to use our loan cap, which is still completely untouched quite late into transfers. The Aranburu stuff above probably doesn't make sense for us anymore without anywhere to spend the fee, but maybe some other quirky situation could become a win/win. Continue to hit us up with any ideas.
Also, on the off chance you've suddenly decided you really wanna sell your cobbles or TT leader, 31 or younger, let us know and we'll move some stuff around.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy
1. Our loan cap is gone, as you probably saw. So no more loans.
2. As I discuss ideas with other managers, I'm interested to see if Matteo Trentin or Rasmus Guldhammer garner any interest at this point. It's possible we could move one of them, but we would only do so if we can trade for a better and/or younger replacement on the transfer market for their respective terrain. We're not abandoning climbs or cobbles, so no guarantees yet. The offer would also have to be substantial enough to outweigh swap options because we're in a pretty high tax bracket already. But if you're still looking for a final leader to help you survive or promote, it could make sense to check in.

4. At this point, if we're interested in your riders, we'll probably be contacting you if we haven't already. No space or interest in adding additional domestiques or talents right now.
After much deliberation and avenues pursued, it seems we are likely going to be keeping our current leaders and pursuing other options as far as using our budget. Feel free to still make offers on our riders, but they would need to be very advantageous to us to make sense at this point.
The exception is Joel Suter, who we are looking to sell. Very versatile rider who we would keep in an ideal world, but he finds himself on the outside looking in of our current plans unfortunately.
At 3.90 XP he's incredibly easy to level up in any division, and his versatility means there are a bunch of ways you can train him. He's already got great backups for domestique work on all terrains, and those will only get better as he progresses.
He's on minimum wage of just 50k, and we're looking for cash offers only. Could go for a very low fee. Check in if you have interest and we can get this done quickly!
Alright, we're basically done now. Suter was sold and we've got our plans squared away since the big moves contemplated either didn't materialize or make sense for us.
One Last Option
For the next few hours we'd still consider a swap deal involving one of our domestiques, but it would need to be very compelling. Chances of such a deal making sense for both of us are probably very low at this point - I've scouted the database extensively for it and haven't found any willing managers yet. But we're putting it out there anyway.
We could take on up to 25k more wage than that of the rider we're letting go, or we could lose more than 25k of wage going back. We could also send/receive some money too depending on the quality of the riders. Preference is for younger riders, and we're not interested in anyone over 31.
The most likely guys we'd want to involve are Kasper Asgreen (77 hill), Olli Kulppi (77 Cob), and maybe Sebastian Lander (79 Spr, 73 Cob) if the wage differences make sense for us. Our other guys would be almost impossible to get.
If we don't find a worthwhile deal in the next few hours, we're closing shop.
