As is already known, the 2021 World Championships will take place on a course with a Flat finish with moderate bumps throughout.
Four different locations were carefully selected by the MGUCI for managers to vote on:
Waterville, 248.1 km:
San Jose, 286.2 km:
Wartburg, 222.9 km:
New York, 261 km:
The TT and TTT courses will be long and flat.
Deadline: 5th June, 23:59:59 PM, Daily Time.
Thanks to everyone who nominated routes and helped getting the profiles ready.

Waterville or San Jose for me. Went for Waterville due to the finish in San Jose, that looked to be a bit uphill.

Could we get a closer look at the final kilometers of the routes? Either a screenshot from the zoomed profile ingame or a screenshot of the actual roads? That would be helpful, at least for me, to make a decision.

Waterville - too close to the Hamilton route of the previous Worlds in Canada
San Jose - Saving a vote for a Central American/Caribbean Worlds for a few years until the home nations can build up some strength and have a more suited course to those skills
Wartburg - Looks too hill focused, and i'd rather come back to Africa next season on a genuine Hill/Mountain route
New York - jandal is always going on about this race as something very good, so earns my vote and if it goes badly we can all blame him and him alone

I guess the New York route is the one best suited for Coquard to have a shot, but I must admit I had hoped for the Waterville as I think it's the most unpredictable looking with the possibility to attack from the distance, but also shortly before the line. The San Jose and Wartburg with uphill finish isn't ideal imo so happy those are not too popular.
