Ranking Update - April to June
We're at the halfway point of the season and the rankings are starting to take take shape. Let's see how the teams in the CT division fared
Crabbe's cobble run continues to net them serious points tally as they've scored the bulk of their points from the Lincoln GP and Tour du Faso. However they weren't the top scorer in Burkina Faso though as that honour went to Hello Fresh. Pas Normal Studios - Mikkeller had solid period as the newcommers from Denmark scored 447 points with the team taking part in the HC Tour de Österreich. The flat profiled USA Pro Cycling Challenge and Olympia's Tour added more points to Aramco's tally
Trans Looney Tunes and Strava got respectable amount of points over these two months. The bulk of Gjensidige's points came from the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, the same for Glanbia and McCormick. At the bottom BNZ and BWT Hyundai have managed to break the 100 point barrier (barely), while Volcanica didn't had races that fit their leader Amador during those months and hadn't scored a single point after the USA Pro Cycling Challenge. Tafjord Kraft and Eddie Stobart sit at the very bottom of the pack with the British team taking 13 points from their Thailand trip
Pos | | Team | Lin | USA | Lis | Nak | Rom | Chi | Fas | Ost | 1JD | Oly | Total | 1 | | Crabbe-CC Chevigny | 128 | 77 | 9 | 41 | 0 | 0 | 197 | 0 | 34 | 6 | 492 | 2 | | Pas Normal Studios - Mikkeller | 54 | 129 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 161 | 103 | 0 | 0 | 447 | 3 | | Hello Fresh | 104 | 82 | 11 | 12 | 0 | 2 | 210 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 421 | 4 | | Aramco DP | 5 | 166 | 0 | 32 | 0 | 0 | 28 | 0 | 0 | 160 | 391 | 5 | | Trans Looney Tunes | 50 | 42 | 6 | 20 | 0 | 11 | 100 | 0 | 28 | 0 | 257 | 6 | | Strava | 19 | 73 | 32 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 88 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 219 | 7 | | Gjensidige Pro Cycling Team | 0 | 131 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 25 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 8 | 165 | 8 | | Glanbia Foods Cycling Project | 3 | 70 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 11 | 0 | 0 | 33 | 117 | 9 | | McCormick Pro Cycling | 0 | 91 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 18 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 109 | 10 | | BNZ-Superhero Racing | 18 | 11 | 0 | 0 | 6 | 24 | 20 | 0 | 0 | 28 | 107 | 11 | | BWT Hyundai N Cycling | 21 | 38 | 0 | 0 | 5 | 0 | 37 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 101 | 12 | | Volcanica - Fox | 4 | 50 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 54 | 13 | | Tafjord Kraft | 10 | 25 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 40 | 14 | | Eddie Stobart | 0 | 5 | 0 | 13 | 0 | 0 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 24 |
Volcanica were 12th in the April-May section, but the mountainous Tour of Vancouver and Giro del Trentino propelled them to the top in this table. Gjensidige was also a gainer thanks to their trip to South Africa. BWT Hyundai also made it to the Top 5 thanks to solid showing in Vancouver, a respectable tally in South Africa and the cherry of the cake was their Monterrey TTT win. For Hello Fresh and Aramco DP it was business as usual as they remain in the Top 5.
The biggest falls were from the top 2 in April-May - Crabbe and PNS - Mikkeller. Cobbled races are now far and in-between, meaning that the Belgian team could drop a spot or two in the overall rankings. Trans Looney Tunes were just shy of Top 5 in this table, but it keeps helping their cause for PCT promotion. Glanbia, McCormick and Strava all had respectable, but nothing spectacular to show for during the month. At the bottom were the usual suspects - BNZ, Tafjord Kraft and Eddie Stobart
Pos | | Team | Fra | Jap | Han | Van | Ras | SAF | Tre | Mon | Ape | Total | 1 | | Volcanica - Fox | 5 | 0 | 0 | 205 | 45 | 0 | 79 | 30 | 13 | 377 | 2 | | Gjensidige Pro Cycling Team | 3 | 0 | 0 | 93 | 17 | 121 | 53 | 45 | 0 | 332 | 3 | | Aramco DP | 49 | 0 | 10 | 121 | 28 | 0 | 55 | 40 | 0 | 303 | 4 | | HelloFresh | 45 | 25 | 0 | 200 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 15 | 0 | 285 | 5 | | BWT Hyundai N Cycling | 0 | 0 | 0 | 111 | 9 | 52 | 40 | 70 | 0 | 282 | 6 | | Trans Looney Tunes | 10 | 0 | 39 | 89 | 60 | 0 | 0 | 55 | 0 | 253 | 7 | | Glanbia Foods Cycling Project | 23 | 0 | 0 | 74 | 41 | 0 | 49 | 35 | 0 | 222 | 8 | | Pas Normal Studios - Mikkeller | 0 | 24 | 28 | 63 | 1 | 0 | 54 | 20 | 9 | 199 | 9 | | McCormick Pro Cycling | 21 | 0 | 0 | 86 | 18 | 57 | 0 | 10 | 0 | 192 | 10 | | Crabbe-CC Chevigny | 41 | 0 | 6 | 41 | 37 | 0 | 20 | 25 | 0 | 170 | 11 | | Strava | 13 | 0 | 20 | 29 | 66 | 15 | 0 | 15 | 0 | 158 | 12 | | BNZ-Superhero Racing | 0 | 31 | 0 | 59 | 0 | 12 | 0 | 30 | 0 | 132 | 13 | | Tafjord Kraft | 22 | 0 | 0 | 8 | 7 | 0 | 62 | 20 | 0 | 119 | 14 | | Eddie Stobart | 16 | 0 | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 4 | 25 | 0 | 51 |
No changes in the Top 3 places, but Gjensidige has managed to leapfrog Volcanica by virtue of the Norwegian team's stronger April-May period. Pas Normal Studios - Mikkeller's performance in the same period has managed to jump to 7th place, while McCormick sliped down to 9th. At the bottom BNZ-Superhero Racing is no longer dead last as they are now 12th. Now, that distinction has fallen on Eddie Stobart

Thanks for this update. Looks like we are solid in the mid-field without much chance to manage the promotions this year. Our sprinters perform well but the lack of scoring depth on other terrain greatly limits us, in particular when it comes to stage racing. At least this season goes better than last one. Sadly I doubt I will get enough time to actually to a revamping of the team in the foreseeable future.

Cool to see Volcanica - Fox, Trans Looney Tunes and Crabbe-CC Chevigny up there.
A good period for us, just hoping to see it continue to the end of the season.

Thanks for update. Middling stuff from Glanbia. We're moving beyond a lot of the Stage Races with Time Trials which suit us. Bennett has been crowded out I think and only Craddock has performed well in TTs.
Dan Martin more than earning his salary
I'm worried my Tour of America team is pretty weak so thar might be a lot of race days with little return..
We'll keep trying, it's all we can do.

Settling where we belong, although the consensus prediction, which was 50% me, had us in 12th so 9th isn't bad. Hopefully can hang on to that top 10 position.
Thanks to SotD and Ivan for pulling together the update.

Some really strong scoring races from us recently means we've top at the moment but projected 2nd. The real goal for us this year is promotion although a Title fight would be nice but HelloFresh scoring consistently well across the board is making it difficult for us to keep with them.
Looks like a very close battle for the final guaranteed promotion spots too which is always exciting to follow!
Thank you for the update

Didn't realize the amount of RD we had used compared to Aramco, seems like this is going to be a close one. We might end up throwing it all away at ToA, but with the performances in ToME, it is deffo looking up!
Thanks for getting this update out!
