Of all the nominated ones I only find Stage 17 of the Giro really memorable, as there we saw a race leader cracking and the race suddenly getting fun again.

There's only one stage I could vote for here, but aside from Dan being the winner, I legitimately think it was the best stage. A breakaway win, but not one where the peloton just let him go. He legitimately had to be one of the best climbers on that final climb to hold them off, and it was really touch and go all the way to the line. At the same time, there was a massive GC shakeup behind. Great stuff.
