[PT/PCT] PTHC Band Choices 2021

22 PT teams. 26 PCT teams. 6 PTHC Bands, 3 Bands of 14rd each which is 42rd in PTHC for all teams.

It's quite unlikely that all teams will get their Top 3 bands, although we try to make it as fair as possible.
So as last season, there'll be a starting time for sending your choices in.
The start to PM your PTHC band priority lists is Wednesday, 01/09, 18:00 British time. (6 p.m. UK time) Choices to be PMed to me!
Please PM your choices as seen below with the order as you like.

If a choice is over subscribed, then a pretty neutral mix of factors is coming into play with things like PM time, band priorities and others being valued. |

Most teams got their top3 priorities. All actually got their first two choices!
Main problem was band 6, which had an incredibly high amount of 2nd and 3rd priorities while being the lowest in 1st priority actually. This led to some teams missing out on their band 6 3rd choice and move into their 4th choice, which is unfortunate but not avoidable.
With a size of 19 teams, band 5 was the least wanted, still all of them had the top3 priority and no team had to move there via the 4th option only.

You really should have put the goal races in prio 1 ideally or 2 at least or make it an OR goal. |

Yeah I know, just rushed goals yesterday as I was already late.
Although it does feel a bit bitter now the people who still haven't send their goals in are actually better off now as they know their races before sending in their goals.

Which is a point I agree with and actually haven`t even thought about.
Then again, normally you always should priorise your goal bands anyway and not sure if the top2 ever wasn`t succeeded in bands. So usually you are safe with any goals no matter if you know the band or not.
Just like with bands though, those that haven`t sent in goals yet, also will get a punishment though. |

This feels similar to last season where the Goals deadline was actually after the Bands confirmation, so if you held off goals (or as i pointed out, just requested a change) you did nicely if Bands didn't work. [Definitely made sure to put my Goals up in 1/2 slot this time, and used the OR on PTHC to make sure i was covered]

Same here, looks like our bands all have a PCT majority in them, although I won't make the rookie mistake of underestimating them!
