Germany really has a lot of sprinters, this could be anyone’s to win. Degenkolb the top favourite though, Reinhardt maybe extra motivated because he didn’t make the top-10 favourite list.
With all the sprinter teams present, the break never stood a chance. Nevertheless, a surprise attack by Walsleben is stirring things up. Kanter the first rider on his wheel.
Ciolek sprinting early. He leads the race with 800 meters to go, Degenkolb and Zabel the first riders to follow him.
Mohs into second now behind Zabel, as top favourite Degenkolb got blocked there! 300 meters to go, Krieger and Ackermann also looking good for a strong finish!
Krieger takes it! After winning Solidarnosc recently he simply continues his great form, making manager liefwarrior an extremely happy man! Stauff comes out of nowhere to take silver ahead of Zabel, who went a bit too early!

German Time Trial Championship
Four guys belonging to two teams aiming for the German TT title, let’s see who takes it.
Politt first good time trialist on the road. He sets the best time of 1h05’06”. Normally not a great time on this parcours, but there’s a lot of wind, so maybe it actually is a decent time.
Predatsch has the exact same time at the first and second chrono, and at the finish … he is one second slower than the Puma rider! At least one medal for Puma now.
Kämna surprising everybody by improving the best time by 25 seconds, as the cameras have even missed him! Shadow favourite Sütterlin coming in now, setting the new best time: 1h02’35”, more than two minutes faster than anyone else. Now we just have to wait for top favourite Fiedler.
But he is eleven seconds slower than Sütterlin! Puma will have the German time trial champion jersey in the 2021 season!
