Been looking forward to this for many reasons - very interested to see how the Brits all do.
Interesting TT to start the race too - Campenaerts has crashed already.

Not helping when Giro-Vuelta double is not possible this season and at same time as Ardennes/Cobbles.
Still the top would be interesting around Thomas, Yates, Astana guys, Kruijswijk, Nibali etc.
Not the one big big favorite really. |

calendar planning was really merciless with Giro, no surprised to see poorer startlist compared to other GT, anyway this can also add more unpredictability and entertainment imo

Almeida benefited from milder winds when he started but he definitely looks good! Let's see if enough to be Deceuninck's GC bet... but liking it so far.  |

Lol 1 min is nothing in the giro, especially on the first stage. we know that in the giro anything can and WILL happen!

This is the Giro, not the Tour. Thomas won't even finish on the podium.
