Also we at Team Popo4Ever have been put to the annual renewals challenge, and have come out rather unscathed. Our main leaders, Pluchkin, Padun and Prevar have all been fairly reasonable in their demands, as like most of our riders were.
With them being fair with their demands it pains us to say we have let go stagiares Banzer and Main, Samoan triathlete Young and ageing Ukrainians Polivoda and Kononenko. Mainly Polivoda hurts as he was not only part of our initial 2013 team, he was also the man behind our very first success. In our maiden race he managed to grab a sprint victory in the first stage of that year's Tour d'Algerie, making him a part of this team's history. Forever.
Oh, and we lost Ulanowski, but he was rather ridiculous with his demands.

Pascal Ackermann joins us from Festina - OAKA as a direct replacement for Maciej Ulanowski this season. Pascal is a very different rider to Maciej though, and is much stronger in the hillier terrain, but lacks some ultimate speed. Despite that we feel like we have brought in a very strong 4th rider to score good points in races where mainly Pluchkin and Padun would not.

Perhaps one of the most interesting talents coming from Ukraine in recent years, 25 year old Gladysh is a very versatile rider whose career path has yet to be decided. Despite being a late bloomer we are confident Roman will be capable of doing big things in the coming seasons, likely as a strong sprinting climber and puncheur.

Another hot prospect joining our ranks is Polish sprinter Aniolkowski. He's far more comparable to Ulanowski than Ackermann is, and should grow to be at least just as strong as his fellow Pole was, perhaps even a bit stronger. Time will tell.

In order to help Pascal we also felt it was time to imrpove our sprinting department by sigining a strong rider capable to ride on any terrain or surface. In our search we ended at De Bondt, and he should more than a good helper for Ackermann in harder stages, pull Pluchkin through flat stages and perhaps even show himself on cobbled sectors.

Cobbles leader! Yes!
Regrettably we have also sold 1 rider. Cult hero Mikayil Krasnoperov will be helping Nordica - Enel in their debut season. Vadim Pronskiy will join Mikayil there, but only on a loan transfer. The final rider not making our 2020 roster is Anatoliy Budyak who will be gaining valuable PT experience at the team of Festina - OAKA.
