I am experiencing that simulating your calendar is very slow. Skipping a week takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Not very amusing. I guess it is because PCM is simulating every race on its own. It doesn't matter if you are in the race or not.
This is very time consuming and is really ruining the experience for me. Is this just me or are others experiencing this as well? And can I do something about it?
PS: I am using the PCM database and my PC is not struggling or anything so guess thats not the issue.
Unfortunately I don't know if there's much you can do unless something has changed in PCM 20 compared to previous years. Simulating has always been slow in game and and it's only gotten worse over the years. It can be a real slog.

Not that it's a very useful tip, but a faster PC would help. Certainly simulating isn't that slow for me, I doubt a week takes 5 minutes to simulate. You could use a basic realname db, the PCM.daily db adds more races, I'm not sure it's that big a difference, but maybe even a little (less) would help.
Thank you! I like the bigger databases because they add sponsors and more diversity in the tours. I however don't care much for all the extra races. Well maybe a few but not all may have to try a smaller database I guess

I guess it's all relative. To me, 4-5 minutes to simulate one week is pretty slow for a sports game. I think to when I play something like MLB The Show, and you can sim a week in like 10 seconds. Obviously every game/database/sport works differently. But it's a pretty stark contrast coming from something like that.

What´s your pc config ?
One week with many races in summer finish in 3-4 minutes with the pcm daily pack
I would have to look this evening. But when playing it only uses about 30% of the CPU and random access memory. Also when racing in 3D on high settings it has no lags or anything. So I would think that the PC itself is not the problem?
Guess the 15/20 minutes is a bit high but 10/15 minutes for sure to simulate a week depending how many races there are.
It indeed is all relative, but for me this is to slow. Most of the playing time I am just looking at the simulating screens, really annoying lol. I actually think about stopping because of this.
