The last PT ranking update before the final 4 races (Herbiers, Deutschland, Tasmania and Lombardia) will decide about relegation and top spots.
In this update the GP Moscow being the only PT event while all others, Battenkill, Rheden and Maroc were PTHC. Still quite a few big pointers for some teams.
In this period eBuddy was the strongest team with 100+ points in 3 events only a non participation in Rheden. Maroc`s GC win with Dombrowski clearly the best.
Moser following very similar while Festina did well in Rheden and having the winner in Coquard in Moscow doing extremely well with 2 classics only.
Indosat being the first team in all 4 races but also scoring decent in all 4, so being quite high before Fablok and Farfetch both scored well in mainly Maroc in the relegation fight!
Most top10 teams did pretty bad actually being in the final third of this period while relegation wise SPAR is getting into danger again while T-Mobile also should have done a bit better. Podium Ambition and Repsol also scoring less than direct rivals.
| Team | Bat | Rhe | Mar | Mos | Total | | eBuddy | 100 | 0 | 354 | 121 | 575 | | Moser - Sygic | 184 | 0 | 228 | 84 | 496 | | Festina - OAKA | 0 | 127 | 0 | 290 | 417 | | Indosat Ooredoo - ANZ | 60 | 172 | 100 | 45 | 377 | | Fablok - Bank BGZ | 14 | 0 | 227 | 132 | 373 | | Farfetch Pro Cycling | 0 | 45 | 281 | 40 | 366 | | Generali | 147 | 0 | 112 | 47 | 306 | | Team Tinkoff | 37 | 28 | 167 | 56 | 288 | | Grieg - Maersk | 125 | 52 | 18 | 85 | 280 | | Repsol - Netflix | 22 | 0 | 189 | 40 | 251 | | Podium Ambition | 64 | 0 | 2 | 183 | 249 | | Gazelle | 24 | 0 | 177 | 35 | 236 | | Evonik - ELKO | 0 | 108 | 0 | 116 | 224 | | T-Mobile | 0 | 84 | 0 | 128 | 212 | | Aegon - Lavazza | 0 | 0 | 0 | 201 | 201 | | Isostar - LimeBike | 0 | 111 | 0 | 74 | 185 | | Aker - MOT | 0 | 41 | 0 | 143 | 184 | | Bennelong - Mitchelton | 0 | 0 | 0 | 173 | 173 | | EA Vesuvio | 0 | 6 | 0 | 96 | 102 | | Team Puma - SAP | 0 | 0 | 0 | 90 | 90 | | Air France - KLM | 0 | 0 | 0 | 70 | 70 | | SPAR - Siam Cement | 0 | 0 | 0 | 67 | 67 |
Herbiers for all and Deutschland for many still missing but other than that just Lombardia and Tasmania. So basically a lot depends on time trialists with some puncheur/sprinter opportunities as well. Not a lot for climbers and cobblers.
Gazelle still safe in the top spot but behind Grieg moved past Puma. This is some surprising 1-2 really with the big favourites being beaten.
Moser up to 4th followed by Generali still in 5th as Air France had a calm period. No changes in the next couple spots down to 12th.
The more interesting question though, how does the relegation zone look like?
Podium ambition now basically secured going down having ~250 points less quite isolated there.
Fablok being best of the teams down there moving up to 20th but still having a bit more than 200 points to gain as all but SPAR did score well.
Repsol not having it easier and also T-Mobile needs big races fast.
Farfetch the big winning team by the look of it. Right now the best of the bottom 6 on the safe side and basically also the last team realistically in danger as Evonik and EA Vesuvio look safe by now with a 500 point gap.
Deutschland wise a chance for Fablok, Podium Ambition, Repsol, SPAR to gain some more points while this makes it even harder for T-Mobile and Farfetch not being there as well.
| Pos | Last | | Team | Total | RD | PpRD | Proj | | 1 | 1 | | Gazelle | 7241 | 186 | 38,93 | 7436 | | 2 | 3 | | Grieg - Maersk | 6333 | 186 | 34,05 | 6504 | | 3 | 2 | | Team Puma - SAP | 6271 | 186 | 33,72 | 6441 | | 4 | 6 | | Moser - Sygic | 6168 | 186 | 33,16 | 6334 | | 5 | 5 | | Generali | 6165 | 186 | 33,15 | 6332 | | 6 | 4 | | Air France - KLM | 6047 | 186 | 32,51 | 6209 | | 7 | 7 | | Aker - MOT | 5846 | 186 | 31,43 | 6003 | | 8 | 8 | | Isostar - LimeBike | 5819 | 186 | 31,28 | 5974 | | 9 | 9 | | Bennelong - Mitchelton | 5791 | 186 | 31,13 | 5946 | | 10 | 10 | | Aegon - Lavazza | 5778 | 186 | 31,06 | 5932 | | 11 | 11 | | Festina - OAKA | 5711 | 186 | 30,7 | 5864 | | 12 | 12 | | eBuddy | 5661 | 186 | 30,44 | 5814 | | 13 | 14 | | Team Tinkoff | 5031 | 186 | 27,05 | 5167 | | 14 | 16 | | Indosat Ooredoo - ANZ | 4943 | 186 | 26,58 | 5077 | | 15 | 13 | | EA Vesuvio | 4898 | 186 | 26,33 | 5029 | | 16 | 15 | | Evonik - ELKO | 4886 | 186 | 26,27 | 5018 | | 17 | 19 | | Farfetch Pro Cycling | 4300 | 186 | 23,12 | 4416 | | 18 | 17 | | SPAR - Siam Cement | 4234 | 186 | 22,76 | 4347 | | 19 | 18 | | T-Mobile | 4189 | 186 | 22,52 | 4301 | | 20 | 21 | | Fablok - Bank BGZ | 4087 | 186 | 21,97 | 4196 | | 21 | 20 | | Repsol - Netflix | 4012 | 186 | 21,57 | 4120 | | 22 | 22 | | Podium Ambition | 3751 | 186 | 20,17 | 3852 |
Herklotz still the only rider with more than 2000 points but Bewley came closer making a jump onto 2nd passing Madrazo, Taaramae and Phinney while no chances in the later top10.
Groenewegen and Dombrowski with some more climbing just afterwards.

Thanks for the update roturn!
With this few races left I finally dare to say that our gap looks quite safe indeed

With Taaramäe left in Tasmania, I feel kind of safe for that targeted top 10, but we shall see. We definitely need him to perform, as Herbiers and Lombardia won't be points races for us, while Deutschland is also unlikely to give us more than the bare minimum.
And indeed Gazelle's gap at the very top looks very safe. Congratulations on a brilliant season so far, DD! The congratulations for the title will come later
Farfetch suddenly looks decent to avoid relegation, but wow there's a lot at stage in the final races. Fablok can't be counted out, as Ponzi's outings in Tasmania and Lombardia could and probably should be huge for them. Then there's also T-Mobile in the middle of it, while Spar also got Lutsenko to save them. That fight for 17th place will be very interesting to follow.
Thank you for the update, roturn! |

Vesely/Paillot in Deutschland.
Paillot/Keinath in Tasmania.
Olivier/De Bie/Keinath/Zardini in Lombardia
Paillot in Herbiers.
On paper this should be enough to defend the top10. But pretty sure Festina will be stronger in all those races anyway, so Aker/Isostar/Bennelong are needed to be passed at least in parts. |

If we can't get in the Top10 that would be an incredibly awful result, but this season has already been a horrible show by our squad.
The battle for the last non-relegation spot is intense, wow! I'd hate to see T-Mobile, Spar or Farfetch go down, but two have to leave I fear

We've done the hard part and got ourselves out of the relegation zone having been bottom only a few months ago, but now we're relying on the misfortune of others. SPAR should score enough to jump ahead of us in Deutschland with their TTers, so we'll need Cattaneo to step up in Tasmania and Yates to surprise in Lombardia in order to drag ourselves out of trouble.
Otherwise it'll be our third relegation in five seasons, and that's just a bit daft - 2013 is the only season in our history where we haven't been promoted or relegated, which is an insane statistic |

Not even top 10 is very dissapointing. Unfortunately I doubt that it will change.

Thanks for the update! Surprised to see our move to second after the poor results in Maroc, but again Wisniowski delivered a great race. Lombardia will be a weak race, but we have a decent squad in Tasmania and hopefully Herbiers could be a great race for us.

We are very well withing reaching the top 10, but Boswell, Lammertink and Howson haven't been exactly reliable so far this year. I still have some hopes the last 2 can surprise me though!

Congrats Gazelle I guess. With one monument to go having a gap of 700 points should be safe...it`s not a GT scoring wise.
Grieg as well having a small gap and so does Puma for the remaining podium spots.
Aker with a great move up to 4th with Tasmania being a great race for them and also Isostar up to 5th. Two late jumps here. But neither Generali not Moser or even Festina and Air France are far behind and so this could beomce a great battle for the top5-10 spots.
Aegon being the last top10 right now with a gap to both sides but neither safe yet. Bennelong and eBuddy the two teams that might attack that spot here.
Tinkoff, congrats to end 13th I guess, many had them as relegation team before the season.
EA Vesuvio, Indosat and Evonik with some midfield performances all year but safe from relegation.
And then the big fight for that one spot!
Right now SPAR sitting in that spot above the line but it`s just 53 points to Farfetch and another 13 spots to Repsol! That`s tiny and T-Mobile as well just another 24 points behind! Surely gaps Lombardia could close!
Fablok would need quite a lot of points and Podium Ambition surely won`t be able to do such team performance I guess.

Come on Spilak and Mohoric. It's time to make sure we finish on that Top5 spot, even 4th should be possible.
The relegation fight is intense really. I'd hate to see Spar or Farfetch go down, but looking at the season it would be a very unlucky relegation for SPAR. Lutsenko needs to perform for them for once this year.

Tasmania should have secured us a top 10, but I wouldn't mind seeing the season end now Our fall down the ranking with Lombardia could be spectacular, as there are several teams behind I fancy to end ahead of us
Though, that's not important, the battle to avoid relegation is. And it's looking really, really tense. Got to fancy Lutsenko to help save SPAR.
Thank you for the express update before Lombardia! |

Lombardia will be a weak race for us, but the podium looks safe for now. Would be an awesome result for us. Looks like a very close race at the bottom, will be interesting to see how it works out.

So glad to see such a solid gap to the relegation fight. Speaking of it - the last surviving spot looks so interesting. 4 teams still with somewhat possible odds to clinch it in the final race. Really curious to see what will happen and how the AI will throw a curveball to them.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

I'll save my victory post for the final update though.
Absolute thriller for the top 5 and relegation spots. Lombardia could still shake things up a lot.

Goos, Kirsch and Kneisky from not close to the Top 100 last season to where they are here? Can clearly spot the riders who didn't want to relegate then!
