How many races in a season?

I play a career with my own created team "IKEA JUST EAT".

But I can't find out how many races a single rider shall race in a season. They get angry if its too few races. And tired if its to many races. What are your experience?

They only get tired if you both race and train too hard, so if you need more races to keep them happy you can always cut down on the training - havent looked to much into 2020 training system, but I think it is something like putting in a 0% training week without races approx. every 5-6 week and they should be fine.

I personally plan about 90 race days per rider (barring unforeseen circumstances such injuries)

Your poor riders! I stick to the old rule of around 60 race days per rider, never more than 70. PCM 09 had a fitness penalty which kept increasing after more than 60 RDs and that seemed fair to me.

yeah, it's not always easy to fit them into the season without get too tired, but in the end I find the way to do it, and they are very satisfied Smile

If we are talking World Tour, my top riders would ride about what df_Trek says (often 42 from two GT) or even a bit more.

In my PCM2020 Continental camp. far from that many, as I havent been allowed to enter too many races.
