The results of the CT draft for two free riders will be revealed in the evening of October 1st.
They will be posted one at a time, just like last year.

These results could have a fairly decent impact on my team so hopefully we get our top picks!

Really hoping to get my top picks! Could affect how my team goes this season!
However we will take it as we get it...fingers and toes are crossed though!

Looking at this from the outside, it'll be quite interesting to see who everyone overlooked during regular transfers, and how teams with different team building approaches handle this.
Good luck getting your picks to all!

I get to view it from the outside looking in this year, I've not looked too in depth, only at some of my Alumni, but I'm sure there are some really nice scoring options still on the table or some decent talents just like last year.
I know last time some of them even ended up in amateur teams.

I have tried to make a good mix of maxed riders, talents and guys from focus nations. Either way, I will be happy.
But, it was a real jungle to find out who was still available, so I must have missed out on some top guys. |

As a potential Amateur manager I am really interested in how this rolls out. Will people pick the better talents or the better riders? Maybe a combo? Any weak spots in the division that a "Kip"-like guy can take advantage from?

Luckily, I had CT draft in mind during the transfers season and X-ed out all FAs having received a bid in "my" DB. So creating the draft list was rather straightforward.
As we're going to pick third, we'll certainly get a sprinter from CT draft, as we've got several of them on top of our draft list. However, we have no clue about the second pick, which could be any type of rider, even a talent .
By the way, the fact that there are still several "Krasnov-like" (78 Spr, 79 Acc) sprinters left further encouraged us to swap him for Signorini, as there was no Mo 78 rider left in FA.
Too bad Schönberger was taken in the last minutes, he was high up on our list. For Vuillermoz, we had time to replace him, but he was high up as well.
Will surely be interesting to follow, even though I'll probably miss out on the "live experience". |

Doesn't look like I'll be able to get no.1 rider on my board, but either way I should be able to get some big boy depth

Look forward to this, was great innovation last season and sparked a lot of discussion around overall strategy, merit of individual picks, and I reckon helped shine a brighter light in general on the CT and the activities of the managers therein throughout the transfers window.
If it would be possible to give some pre-indication of approximate start time, I'm sure that would help an appropriate sized crowd gather for the on-line telecast!

I'm hoping to get home from work in time to comment as it goes live but it depends what time it starts.
I don't get to participate this year but it would still be nice to be online for it if I can be.

Now this is where th fun begins. Last year I looked at talents that didn't work out or support for my cobbles team. This year there are some big names yet to be picked up on the FA market so fingers crossed I pick them up. Only a shortlist of 7 submitted from what I recall but all would be welcomed additions to the side.
Evening works brilliantly if I wasn't at the football tonight so will miss all the action

Yeah unfortunately I'm not available tonight either, so the draft picks will have to be a re-read for me

Very hopeful in getting my top targets, as it is more about filling in a hole rather than finding the best rider. Nothing out there is going to significantly change the dynamics of my squad so just looking to get a little more from the team with these guys.

Thanks for the timing indication SN. I'll try and get some random comments in on most riders as they are announced as last year (as best I can inbetween eating my dinner).

Pick 1) Oh shit, was he available?!
Pick 2) Oh shit, was he available?!
Pick 3) Oh shit, was he available?!
Pick 4) My crap pick
Pick 5 and onwards) Oh shit, was he available?! |
