Hey guys. It's a beautiful Friday night, so relax and grab a cold one on us this transfer season. We're have plenty of riders for you to check out while you're here!
For all our riders, cash or swap deals with be considered. Anything is on the table. These guys also have varying levels of availability. Keep in mind that other riders could also be available, per our HQ. Feel free to inquire regarding any and all possibilities.
We are also eager to hear about anyone selling stage race or cobblestone leaders!
Pieter Vanspeybroeck had great things expected of him last year, and to be fair, he did great things. 21st in the PCT individual rankings, winner of the KBC De Panne Tour as well as GP Kigali, and dozens of great minor placings including 6th in Ronde van Vlaanderen. The problem was that this wasn't enough for a team that relied almost entirely on his utter and complete domination. Regardless, he has the ability to compete for victories in the biggest cobbled races in the world, and could function as absolute leader on any PT or PCT team. A good offer will definitely be needed for his services, but it would surely be worth it as long as you don't make the mistake of expecting him to be the Jesus Christ of northern classics.

Second year in a row that Nolf has ended up on the chopping block. The credentials remain the same - he's a great cobblestone leader who can hang with the best of them in any division. The difference now - he requires only $140,000 in wages, only 70% of his wage from last year. On this contract, he's an option to lead at any level, and could absolutely destroy CT. What isn't suggested is to bring him on as a super-domestique. He showed this year that he does not take kindly to that role, and became a liability at times because of it. Nolf, unlike VSB will definitely leave to the highest bidder.

Kvist is a former Danish national champion, and on the surface, he may look like your standard leadout rider, but he is so much more than that. Kvist has shown time and time again that he can adapt to literally any role. He's not afraid to attack, or free lance, or do whatever he has to do to ensure success. He also has a knack for success in longer stage race and cobblestones, making him extremely versatile compared to normal leadout men. Oh yeah, and his wage is only 5 digits long. He doesn't have to leave, but offers will be highly considered.

Rasmus Quaade is also a former NC, winning the 2017 Danish TT championships. He clearly isn't the most versatile rider out there. He knows his strengths and has stuck to them over the years. But they're strengths for a reason. If you're looking for the final cheap piece to your TTT squad, Quaade is a can't miss piece. At the CT level, he could also wrack up tons of stage points in any ITT he rides.

After spending the past 3 seasons at Carlsberg, Oste-Macdonald has requested an opportunity to move elsewhere. O'Mac thrives in the mountains. He's a pure mountain goat all the way. Unfortunately, two things have happened at Carlsberg. One, he hasn't had a good climber to help in two years. Two, a couple of young riders may soon pass him on the depth chart. Thus, he would like to leave and go back to pacing in the mountains where he could really have an impact. He is on minimum wage.
More riders may become available as the transfer season moves forward, so stay tuned. And be sure to contact me if any rider, here or otherwise, tickles your fancy. PM, thread, or Skype are all perfectly acceptable.

Some general interest in Nolf and Vanspeybrouck, but no concrete offers yet. You still have a chance to get in on the ground floor and come out with a steal of a deal!
Also, no interest yet in our domestiques. These are very useful guys who could be sold for under 100k, particularly Quaade and Oste-Macdonald, who would be great depth additions for any CT squad. Quaade would even be a high scoring leader there.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy
Of note to some, a PT loan agreement has been reached for young stage racer Niklas Eg, in which we are paying his wage and receiving the fee. If you would really covet his services and would like to offer a larger fee than the minimum, it would still be accepted (in the case of a reasonable increase).
No offers from Vanspyebrouck yet. Plenty of interest, but nothing concrete. It's not assured he will be sold, so if you want too be sure to get him, come to me with a good offer ASAP!
A lot of interest in Nolf, but only one offer in so far, involving 200k and a solid superdomestique/CT leader type. I'd much prefer cash than swaps though. Anything in the realm of 750k would be ready to post for me, but all offers are accepted, even if they're not in that area! Remember, he can lead in any division and is on a great wage now!
Kvist has interest in the 200k's, Quaade for about the same. But neither are official, and thus, please get your offers in, even if they same like slight lowballing. Remember, Kvist is only 90k wage, and Quaade is only 50k!
No interest in Oste-Macdonald at all. For 100k, he's yours. For less, he's probably yours anyway. He was crucial in Garby's 2016 CT success, don't miss out!
Eg's deal will go up today for minimum fee, where I pay wage. That's quit a steal for a 75 mtn/73 TT helper with good backups. If you'd like to overbid, you've still got time, and it will be accepted.
As stated earlier, overbids are accepted! He is currently going for the bare minimum of 50k and is a terrific domestique for any PT team at 75 mtn and 73 TT. Good in the mountains and not a TTT liability either.
As always, if you have any interest in any of our guys, listed or otherwise, hit us up!
Clause for all of them would be to level up to 4.00.
At the current moment, we're really only looking for 25k/25k wage splits where no fee is involved, but that could change depending on how the next few days unravel. Let me know if any of these guys interest you!
Vaspeybrouck is not guaranteed to be moved anymore, so if you need a surefire points scorer, try to woo me before he's off the table.
The situation is the same for Nolf as before, although there is more interest gaining that could be sorted in the next couple of days. So if you have the money/intent now, you could get a good deal by pouncing early.
For 200k or higher, Kvist and Quaade would be yours. Oste-Macdonald would be dealt instantly for 100k, but I'd likely take anything above the minimum fee.
Stay tuned for more updates. Also, feel free to check out this HQ post if you want to pursue any of our other riders not explicitly up for sale:
Nolf has an offer in at just 500k that is now in the lead. This is a great chance to get a CT leader for any level on the cheap, and he only takes up 140k in cap space. Any reasonable increase puts you in the lead. Anything 650k+, he's yours.
Meanwhile, Yechezkel has been loaned out on the preferred 25/25 wage split. The others are still up for grabs. As before, 25k/25k is ideal. You can always pay me a fee on top of that though if you'd like.
So, the deal thread for Frederik Nolf is officially up for 700k. That doesn't mean you can't overbid though. All overbids of 25k or more will be accepted! Still a great chance to get a bargain for a cobbles leader at any level.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the meantime, our domestiques remain on the market, with plenty of interest, but no concrete offers in the range I'm looking for. The sooner you come to me with the decent offer, the sooner they're yours for a bargain.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We also could possibly take a loanee in on a 1>3. I can't confirm that yet, but it's a possibility. This would work primarily if you paid the wage and we got the minimum 150k (or whatever is required by the rider's wage). Preference would be given to Scandinavians but all would be welcome.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, Yechezkel has been taken, but it's possible the other 3 could still go to a PT or PCT team on loan, either at 25k/25k as discussed earlier, or potentially with you paying wage and us paying fee. That would depend on other inquiries though. Just let us know if you have interest.
Edit: Nolf bid is now 700k! Overbids still accepted!Edited by baseballlover312 on 23-09-2019 22:42
Alright, last call for bidding on Frederik Nolf! The price is now up to 725k, but that's still a great deal for a proven points scorer at any level, who can single-handedly mop up points in a terrain for you for very little wage.
I will still accept overbids for the next few hours before it's sealed, but I go to class very soon, and there's no guarantee I'll be able to confirm an overbid while I'm out, so if you're waiting around, make your bid ASAP.
We'd now like to shift focus once again to our domestiques, who have received plenty of interest, but no official bids in the range we're looking at. They are:
Thomas Vedel Kvist - $90,000 Wage, Sprinter - Asking 200k
Max Öste-Macdonald - $50,000 Wage - Climber- Asking 75k

All of these guys are very useful and on very cheap wages. Quaade can score at the CT level, and Kvist is proven as a fantastic leadout, versatile, and can even overachieve himself. He's also the perfect guys for long stage races (ToA?) because of his amazing recovery. O-Mac is also a tried and true mountain domestique that could go for as little as the minimum fee. Let us know if you have any interest, and we'd love to work something out.
Finally, we have made some deal/have some in the works with regards to loans. We're going to put a hold on further activities for the next day or so while we straightened some other situations out, and get back to you if/when we are ready to take on more.
Nolf is officially gone. If you want him, talk to Carrefour!
Still 3 great domestiques for sale though, as you can see by the posts above. Prices are dropping, so if you have any interest, hit us up and lets get it done. Whether you need a versatile leadout, a TT expert, or a mountain goat, we got them - cheap!
Update: Max Oste-Macdonald has left us in a swap deal for Nathan Haas. However, for financial reasons, we may also be looking to sell Haas for a small fee. Here are his stats below:

As you can see, Haas is solid puncheur domestique for any division. He could be very useful for us, but we'd be willing to talk about selling him for basically anything that's a decent raise from the minimum fee.
He joins Kvist and Quaade on the trading block. We are willing to keep Kvist, as he's a great value leadout for us on a great wage. Quaade, on the other hand, doesn't really fit out current schema (we suck in TTT's), so he is very likely to leave. Below is a reminder of their stats.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We also are interested in PCT stage racers, and we can pay big money to do it. If you are thinking about selling a big scorer, but figured there might not be enough value out there to make it worth it, we can change that perspective for you!
Quaade has a bid in at 100k, and he will likely be moving in the next day for that price unless a higher bid comes in. Still plenty of time to snag the final cog in your TTT machine, or a CT points scorer. He's very cheap too. Remember, just a 50,000 WAGE for 78 TT.
Kvist is looking more and more likely to stay. He's a great, versatile leadout rider for us, and so if we don't get proper value for him, we have no problem keeping him.
Haas has received no interest yet. Of course, he's still not officially a member of our team, so that makes sense. If he looks good to you though, he could go fairly cheap. Or we could keep him. Depends on how desperate I am for some reason when you contact me!
So here's the conditions. Of the two we loan, we want: - One where you pay the wage and we pay the fee
- One where it's a 25k/25k wage split
If you have interest in any of these guys for the above scenarios, let me know over any communication. As you can see, all are already somewhat into Level 3 and hence wouldn't require many racedays. Asgreen in particular is almost there already! They're good squad filler, and they'll be financially beneficial. Come get them while they're available!
We;re still looking for someone to take in a Lvl 3. loanee for us. We seem to have the 25/25k option covered, so this would likely be for the option where we pay fee and you pay wage. It's possible we could pay something like 5k or 10k of wage, but preference is for you to pay it all. We could compensate with a slightly higher than minimum loan fee from our end. Let me know if you're interested!
If anyone has a PCT worthy stage racer they could still part with, hit us up! We potentially have a ton of wage cap left and could really break the bank to make it worth your while!
I know I just posted this, but I want to make sure you all understand.
We are looking for a top stage racer and we are willing to sell the clothes on our backs to do it! If you want some big time training money, you can still get it here, when other sources have dried up. We are willing to overpay big time if the talent is enough to score big in PCT. Please talk to me if you have absolutely any interest, and we can work something out.
You get a huge amount of money, we get a stage racer. Understood? Then let's go!
We are currently able to take on 1->3 loanees here at Carlsberg. We can pay wage or not, up to you. Only stipulation is that you can't pay over 90k of their wages, as we would then exceed the loan cap.
If you're interested, hit me up however you want!
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy
We're basically done, but we could still loan out one of our Lvl 3. talents if it would benefit someone. Any wage/fee situation works for us. Contact us quickly though, obviously times running out in the transfer season.
Let us know if you're interested! Easy way to gain an extra rider at no/reduced wage or getting a bit of extra training money. Either way works for us.
Quick reminder that we're still open if anyone wants to take on one of our potential loanees, seen above. None would need a lot of race days to get to level 4, either in PT or PCT.
You'd have 3 options:
1.) You pay wage, and we compensate you with up to 70k in fee
2.) We pay wage, and you give us a fee
3.) We split wage 25/25k, no fee.
Those are in order of preference, but all would be accepted. Basically, we'll do anything but uneven wage splits.
If you have any interest at all in either of those options, give me a shout and we will get it done! Your choice of rider as well.
Alright, Mathias Krigbaum has found a home at Farfetch Pro Cycling for the upcoming season. Thanks to them for being accommodating!
That leaves 2 loanees that you could potentially have - Patrick Olesen and Kasper Asgreen. Due to the prior deal, we can only do 25k/25k splits. If you have a little wage cap left, but not enough to buy an FA, and want to fill out your team with a decent helper, come talk to me! Asgreen in particular needs barely any race days to get to Lvl 4. since he's at 3.78, so you would only have to use him when he'd be helpful in the hills.
