Here we go again, back down in the CT. The team patiently sticks this out, expecting to rise once more. After a dismal season in the PCT, the team will be expecting a rebound, and returning the same core from the PCT and adding back in some talent that was on loan, nothing less than promotion is expected.

Well there are always hard times when a team falls down, but this looks to be an incredibly quiet transfer window for Azteca with really few moves to make.
Potentially loan out:

Replace with two riders.
Remainder of the team is very unlikely to change.

The team adds one rider from the free agent pool, with Sergio Ortega rejoining the team. Sergio was a solid support rider for us last season and will look to fill much the same role helping Eastman again on climbs and time-trials throughout the season.

The team was also able to Loan Out one of the young talents in William Barta to Desigual, a team which we have worked with several times in various seasons. We are happy to see him get the chance to progress in his career.
We would still like to see our young Sprinter get a chance at the higher levels working with some of the top sprinters to learn from their example. Could split wage, or offer compensation.

My how things change... back when we first started this was a promotion caliber team.
Now we look like this, a massive difference and a true showing of how much harder the CT division has become in only a handful of years.

I am NOT looking forward to meet (B)Eastman on the CT roads, especially with the incredible depth of your team in the mountains 
With Chaves and Squire you'll be very present in the hills as well. Your TTT train should be solid at least. You've got some nice cobblers and some kind of sprinters as well, so promotion should not be a big deal for you. I'd even say Top3 should be safe.
Fortunately, (B)Eastman only has 40 RDs; I don't fear the other mountain guys THAT much

Really insane how much better CT teams have gotten since we started. Back then, having a 78 stat guy, even if limited, was like a treasure. Guys like Mendes dominated. I think it has to do with PT getting more top heavy, which cause trickle down effects for what would be secondary leaders at PT and PCT.
