List of Most Expensive Transfers

Below is a list of the top 50 most expensive transfers in recorded ManGame history (2009 - 2019).

A note on eligibility: only transfers in which a single rider has moved in a 'pure money-deal' has been added to this list. I've considered also adding transfers where riders have moved for money + rider(s) and the money alone would have been enough to make this list, however as a rider in theory can have negative value, I have opted not to include these.

If you have information on a transfer from from pre-2009 that would make this list, let me know and I'll make sure to update the thread! Smile

Very interesting list. I guess I didn't truly realize how big my two Desigual transfers were last season with TVG and Tenorio. Hefty money moves. :lol:

I dont think it was ever technically possible to make a single deal with loan and transfer riders. They had to be posted separately and its possible that others from your list had other loan deals involved too. I think youre right tho. I can send you the full list of transfers and loans if you want to look through them and filter those cases out?

Thanks for this, it’s pretty interesting. Didn’t realise how small the number of $2m+ transfers was (even with the lack of archived transfers available). 2013-2014 market was crazy with some domestique types going for expensive prices

Thanks for compiling and sharing; makes interesting reading, and timing is obviously highly relevant!

Putting a $ value on some of the (at times intricate) swap and/or (rider+money deals) is quite difficult, but in some cases I am sure many people would agree is close to or even exceeds the top deals here. Interesting how the MG in-game market has evolved in response to the inherent supply and demand situation that exists!

SN dug up the forum sections from season 2009 to 2012, so list is now updated to include those years. That means only transfers from 2007 and 2008 are missing.

A handful of new additions, but Uran still sits comfortably at the top Wink

The list is now updated up until the last transfer window. Only one transfer made it in this season, with Tim Wellens' move from Volvo acc. by Spotify to Fablok - Bank BGZ at a price of €1,900,000 entering the list at 24th place.

We need to go back to 2011 to find a season with fewer representations and lower 'seasonal high' fee:

That chart's quite the proof of how irregular of a transfer season it was. There were obviously fewer big sales going on, but that's an insane drop off.

It really wasnt an easy transfer season, coming from someone who promoted to the PT and had very limited options. My final plan was like Plan H, going for Ponzi out of necessity and filling the void with someone else. Dont think I wouldve even paid 1.9M or anywhere near for a Wellens calibre rider

The list is now updated with last year's additions. A total of seven transfers entered the list, with only the 2015 transfer season having a higher number of representations. However, the top 10 remains unchanged.
