5 classics have been raced since the last update and with the season almost over, some fights surely still are possible.
Lombardia and Tasmania are raced by all teams, while several teams, in especially from the relegation area, also have the Tour of Maroc still on their calendar. Having a good race there, could surely bring some teams under pressure.
As seen below the updated full rankings with Puma still having a comfortable gap after some decent scores in Köln, Battenkill and Moscow.
Moser did win Battenkill and also did well in Riga while Vesuvio had a solid Köln performance. Moser still having Maroc could make things less exciting as the fight for 2nd could be decided there.
Festina and Evonik, who have finished their PTHC schedule already sit right behind them. In especially Vesuvio can`t feel safe yet.
Though pressure is still on from T-Mobile to conquer the top5 spots with a solid Maroc while Gazelle and Isostar would need top results in the other two races.
At the bottom most teams are in Maroc which is bad news for Porto and Berg, who are already under the line an not race there.
Aker and Tinkoff basically need a solid race to keep their gap, while the teams below the line will need strong performances in all remaining events!
eBuddy, Air France and RBC all have Maroc left and could attack the top10 this way as the 1-2 last teams there look possible.
Aegon and Grieg look safe for now but without Maroc, they still need some results in the other events to guarantee another PT season.
Tinkoff seems to be the only team above the line that is still on danger. I cant see Aker, Grieg or Aegon getting in danger even with the most unlucky results imaginable.
Pretty sure I've had a top 10 rankings goal so i have that achieved again already. Would love to finish on the podium but the last two months made it unlikely to happen. So i guess defending top 5 against T Mobile is the task now which is hopefully doable. I camt wait for the final individual rankings. Between Skujins, Van Stayen and Van Avermaet we might have three top 20 scorers which would be insane
I hope we can keep the Top10 spot. All in all we underperformed in a lot of races I guess, but the consistency of Spilak kept our head above the water. Very interesting fight at the bottom of the division, but it seems like we know the five going down. Sad stuff, though not a big surprise in the relegation fight tbh.
Seeing the standings, we really should be safe, but you never know what PCM will throw at you
At least our team for Maroc should be strong on paper. In the other races, we won't expect much, but for Maroc I definitely have expectations. A bit surprised to see Volvo somewhat lost. I won't mind Ahlstrand winning all sprint stages in Maroc (assuming he's riding) ahead of Ciolek, to give them at least some hope of a sensational survival seeing the current gap
Still looks good for staying up. A bit worrying that almost everyone around us will be racing at Maroc, but think we should be safe, especially with a race like Lombardia left to race. Just hope we can finish above Aker and be the best Norwegian team now
