Over the years Cyanide has done nothing to fix the very different classifications on races. They have restricted it to the standard once held in TDF.
HOWEVER, this year TDF have some crucial difference. The don't have any bonus seconds awarded on the normal intermediate sprints. Those seconds are now on certain mountain spots together with the KOM points on those climbs. Also it's not 3-2-1 sec any more but 8-5-2.
So since I haven't bought the game yet I like to know from those that have bought it to inform how do the XML-classification file for TDF look like.
Even if the have made changes at all. Giro is wrongly too over the last few years since they have different categories of intermediate sprints. Depending on 3 types of route. That has never been included in PCM. How about now ???
ARTICLE 26 | TIME BONUSES
Time bonuses are awarded at the end of every road
stage and, therefore, not in the individual or team
time trial. The first three riders receive 10, 6 and 4
seconds, respectively.
Time bonuses, known as Bonus Points, are awarded
on passes or the summit of hills at key locations on
the route. There is 8 Bonus Points distribute in the
3rd, 6th, 8th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 18th, and 19th stages. The
bonuses awarded are 8, 5 and 2 seconds to the first
three riders classified.
If we have changes I would be happy to have have a look at the XML file for TDF and then perhaps also Giro. I was planning to release a huge pack with correct XML on most races but this new form is something that might crack that.
