First stage of this TT oriented stage race. Itâ€™s a 17-km individual timetrial between Sint Willebrord and Rucphen, which will see the first gaps in GC. The big favourites for the win today are Marlen Zmorka and Luke Durbridge, but there are several riders that surely will have something to say in the outcome of the stage

SchÃ¤dlich is the first top riders to finish his day, and he obviously goes as the fastest rider so far, improving Van Aertâ€™s time by 25 seconds

Other riders like Van Zandbeek (+41), Zoidl (+48), Van Niekerk (+46), Vandewalle (+23), Sterbini (+25) and Wurtz (+27) did good times but as expected, not even close to Schadlich

Cameron Meyer the first rider to get really close to Schadlichâ€™s time, as the Aussie was just 2 seconds slower than the Kraftwerk rider in the finish

Viennet sets the fastest time â€œeasilyâ€ after being quite far in the intermediate point, by 7 seconds over Schadlich

Sergent, as the Kiwi rider not only sets the fastest time so far, but heâ€™s also improving Viennetâ€™s time by over 20 seconds!!!

Mottin (+37), Ovechkin (+55) and Olman (+1â€™02) were other timetrialists starting in this zone

Kung appeared and set the third best time, though itâ€™s 28 seconds slower than Sergentâ€™s

The wind has almost disappeared, and this is hurting the chances of those riders that start right now, as it was key in the late part of the stage for riders like Sergent or Viennet earlier.

Zmorka is the next timetrialist up the road.

And the Ukranian champion does the fastest time by only 5 seconds, just as the wind came back to same intensity as when Sergent was on the road!
