Amstel Gold Race already on the road, why not start a thread for another one of the year's most exciting week? |

The only triple round here will be Bono in breakaways - 1/3 down

Not on the new course for Amstel - no final Cauberg.

Last years Amstel was really fun. Race explodes way earlier because theres no Cauberg for everyone to wait for.
Valv wont win the treble because Amstel is too easy for him and I wanna see Alaphilippe win LBL. He will probably win FW |

I dont feel Valverde can win Amstel. Yes, he can get a podium maybe but FV and LBL suit him better.
Here in Amstel, my winner is Tim Wellens. |

Well played by Valgren. Superb race from Kreuziger anyway though. Looks like he is back in his top form.

The alternative podium was 3 from 4-7th but happy for Valgren. He deserved it, tried a couple of times after good work by Fulgsang and one stuck. Sagan could've gone with that move but decided he'd done enough and neither Valverde nor Alaphillipe prepared to chase (Wellens looked a little more uncomfortable after covering an earlier attack, that Sagan finished off closing down, so doubt he had much left at that moment).
