HTTP/HTTPS?

Protected Rider Posts: 1280 Joined: 21-07-2012 PCM$: 300.00	Hey guys, I was reading this article today after someone tried to access my Microsoft account, and it suggests that websites (like this one) will be disadvantaged by not having HTTPS. The reason is because whenever a user tries to log in using Firefox or Chrome, we see an "insecure" site warning. Are there any plans for PCM.daily to be adopting HTTPS? PS: I'm not entirely sure as to how this all works, but I'm curious to find out if the admins know about the issue and/or if anything is expected to change soon. Tour de France Champion Posts: 18187 Joined: 12-05-2012 PCM$: 0.00	You'll go a long way to staying secure by using different passwords for different accounts. So use a different password for Daily than for your Email or other things. It's just good practice in general, even on HTTPS sites. It's more important for sites that rely on personal information like banking details to use HTTPS (S = Secured) than a minor cycling forum (and our PayPal donate button takes you to PayPal which does use HTTPS and is secure). [More knowledgable people would need to comment on plans to change]
