How to change training values?

Hello everybody,

Having recently started a pro cyclist career in PCM2017, I was wondering how can we change the training values?

I have tried editing the STA-Training-exercice sheet with the excel editor but this has not worked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What exactly about the training values do you want to edit?

I wish to change the training values so that all training values are at 2 minimum. So that the training is more realistic, like in the expansion pack

You can edit sta_training_exercise for that but the sum of each training gains has to be 12, so it's impossible to have 2 as a gain for every single stat.

Is it not possible to modify this maximum? I know it was done for the PCM 2015 expansion pack.

We didn't edit the maximum in the 2015 EP? Just slightly tweaked the values.

As that is what I would like to change on my saved game or initial DB if it is not possible.

As I believe that with having this kind of progression make the game slightly more realistic. Also there is a similar level of progress for all training types.

Ps do note that fighting, downhill and cobblestones have been maxed out already and that prologue does increase even if it does not show

PCM doesn't exclusively follow sta_training_exercise when it comes to riders progression. sta_training_exercise regulates more or less how much a training affects a rider progression, but you shouldn't be fooled into thinking it plays the biggest role in it.

It is also based on other factors which range from the riders' potentials, the stat limits - which are randomly generated upon career start mostly based on a rider's potential, results and random factors too, but at this point I don't think anyone can say with absolute certainty what those are exactly and how big a role they play.

In short, it is definitely possible that even as a climber your cobble gets upgraded for example, but that has not much to do with sta_training_exercise editing.
