The 2017 season is upon us all and has taken everyone with their pants down, but now is the time to pull those up and start the usual scheming, that starts at every season. Last season we only had few riders capable of transitioning fully to the PCT level and no leaders to predict if our Goals or Races were correct. Now we have a much stronger base and knowledge, that would've been worth diamonds last season.
We are once more an Polish-Israeli Team, where as always our focus is developing a much bigger Cycling scene in these two countries. Our friends/rivals at Netia has helped us in this approach in Poland and now news travel that a new CT team with Polish roots are ready for their season. Lots of stuff happening behind the scene and hopefully we can learn from our mistakes and perhaps see the very first Polish PT team next season!
Fablok "is a Polish manufacturer of locomotives, based in Chrzanów. Fablok being a widely used syllabic abbreviation of Fabryka Lokomotyw. Fablok does not make new locomotives anymore." - Wikipedia - Fablok is our Polish Flag Ship for a lost work of art never to return and tells the lesson that all great things must come to an end

Beautiful jersey. And the team already looks very strong for this season. I'm sure you'll just need a bit of tweeking and your a hot promo candidate. All the best for your upcoming season.
But maybe its time to change your signature and get that photobucket pic out of it?

Thanks and yeah this transfer season is all about tweaking and making the max out of my budget. And good luck to you aswell, PT is another piece of the game unlike the other, so you'll need it!

Let's hope that the Fablok thing isn't one of those great things that must come to an end
Seriously though, best of luck this season and looking forward to the conversations over the transfer period!

@Booker; No of course not, not yet at least! Yeah, I guess we'll got end up talking no matter what in this transfer season, so until then
@the_hoyle; Nice to have a proper team name again and yeah, guess we'll have to do that, at least we don't share a French focus anymore, so there's that at least

Transfer Rumors | Roche to leave?
Roche in Tour of Beijing 16'
Nicolas Roche joined our team from years in the PT with Pokerstars and a secondary role to being Captain in the PCT and managed to be the 14th most scoring rider of that season. This was not enough for the team to promote nor crack the Top 10 and Nicolas' dream of being the force behind a back-to-back promotion was set to be a little disappointment. Now sadly Nicolas is not getting older and sadly isn't going to continue being a force to be reckoned with, we might have to part ways already. If interest is high enough and satisfactory for both the team and Nicolas, we might see Nicolas ride for another team this season
Hills, Mountains and ?
It is no secret that what the 2016 season was missing for the team was dominance in the Sprints. Anthony Lavoine* was the force behind our successful voyage in CT and was even nominated for the annual "Rider of the Year"-Award. PCT was a whole other demon and the team was rarely seen in Top 10's on sprinting stages. This gap at our whole core and with Fablok back, what more signs do we need in order to switch back to this area of cycling? Well, for starters the team needs a PCT worthy sprinter and Anthony, Grzegorz and Noam are all content with helping this individual if the chance comes. So expect Fablok to be on the hunt for a Sprinter and perhaps a trip back to our roots, is what is needed to succeed.
* Anthony Lavoine won 2 stage races, numerous stage wins and several Point Jerseys in Fablok's first outing in the 2015 season. He did this at a 75k wage and still managed to get nominated as Rider of the Year in 2015

Can you teach me how you do it?
Replacing Roche will be difficult but with the decline it would not be a bad decision if you can get a decent fee and have a good idea for a replacement. Perhaps there is even a very similar rider from Poland on the market ...

The team has seen the return of Pawel Poljanski and Grzegorz Stepniak form there trip to the PT and the big GT events that both were lucky to content in. Thanks to Evonik and Festina for taking them on and for returning them in safe condition. Pawel is yet to race a single RD for this team after 2 seasons out on loan, now he will set to learn from Nicolas Roche in the hope of him turning into a strong rider. The team is satisfied with the Renewals overall and is happy to still have room for more talent.
Now give me a chance to explain our Transfer Availability for the 2017 Transfer Season; We are very much open to bids on our leaders marked in "Maybe" or "Yes". It will take quite an impressive bid to make Froome leave the team, but nonetheless we will give him the chance to join another team. Roche pretty much takes up the same spot as Poljanski in our team and if managers are interested in the Irish Veteran, then we have allowed him to leave us if we he see's it fit. The team will also like to say, that we are now receiving call from other managers, that wish to loan out their lvl 2 or 3 riders to us and we will give them the experience needed, so please consider writing to us if you wish to do so.
See you on the other side of the transfers!

Nice work with transfers. Sadly I don't see 'Yes' next to the availability of Lavoine... Is that a typo?

Well your welcome to make a bid for him when the transfer season gates open, but will be extremely hard and probably not worth your while. As Lavoine has a special place in the team

Don't expect much from him this season, but its certainly an improvement for the team. Time will tell if he is someone that the team wants to put training money into next year

Sprinters joins the Locomotive!
Andrea Guardini, 170k Wage
Fl | Mo | Hi | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Cb | Sp | Ac | Fi | Dh | Pr | 72 | 55 | 64 | 59 | 74 | 69 | 71 | 60 | 80 | 82 | 74 | 60 | 59 |
Andrea Guardini joins from the FA market after having to go through the Metinvest disbandment at the end of last season. Andrea joins us at a crucial moment, where our Sprinter section is getting a overhaul. It is still unsure whether him or Lavoine will be our pick for Stage Race sprints, but he might also end up helping our other signing to victory. His job will no doubt be flexible and his many years in the PT should help us greatly
Erik Mohs, 265k Wage
Fl | Mo | Hi | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Cb | Sp | Ac | Fi | Dh | Pr | 75 | 56 | 65 | 66 | 73 | 64 | 76 | 63 | 83 | 82 | 53 | 73 | 66 |
After 6 years at Pokerstars and after being that number 2 in after Degenkolb, where Erik has proven himself with some 1-2's and set Degenkolb for the big stages and classics of the PT. Now after the success of bringing Roche from Pokerstars, we are proud to give a chance for Erik to shine on his own terms! With his caliber at our side we are set to once again dominate the sprints and with the return of Fablok, that is quite a symbolic change. Please welcome Erik Mohs and Andrea Guardini to the PCT!
Departures
Lastly we would like to say goodbye to Nikolas Maes, that joined our team last year and managed to get some Top 10's in several classics. Now in agreement with Iberia (Pokerstars) he will join their pursuit of dominating the PT Rankings with them and while his success was barely noticed, we thank him for his service to our first PCT season.
