Proximus Continental Team born as a dream of a Colombian Manager who travel to Belgian looking support for a new team. Why this adventure and not stay in Colombia? Because he wants a team mainly focused on classics of flanders and ardennes, So, this Benelux region is optimal for that dream.
The first step was looking for a Sponsor, he knows that a lot of brands support cycling in Belgium, but the Colombian Manager wants something related to Technology and Systems, his 2nd passion. Thats is the reason who brings him to the Proximus office's. The main Belgian telecommunications company, showed the interest in our project and Brussels will be the headquarter of the team.
The second step is scout and find for Belgian and Dutchman cyclists. We want to give the team an identity who makes new supporters in this region who loves and follow the team.
So, here we are, waiting for sign those cyclist and hoping for give to Benelux a new pride in the roads.

Yes Yes Yes  Love the concept and welcome to the game! I'm sure we'll be seeing a bit of each other in the hills this year, maybe not so much the cobbles.

Indeed that is one nice looking shirt. A lot of strong belgian riders on the FA market after BPost stopped, so I guess you should do alright getting a few decent riders for a limited amount of cash.

Belgium isn't the easiest place to form a new team with nearly all teams interested in Belgian talents but there is also lots of quality to pick from. I like the plan and also how well you seem to be prepared.

Got to say this is one of my favourite jerseys and it should definitely stand out well in the peloton this year.
