Database changes don't show up in game!
Ruby United
I have PCM 2016 on Steam and downloaded the WorldDB 2017 database.

I spent a while editing the database and even made some of my own, fantasy cyclists and a fantasy team with whom I started a career.

However, a couple of days ago, for some reason, my editing stopped working. When I would edit a rider, the changes would not show in the database. Meaning, I would edit the database as usual (finding the DB in the Content folder within the Workshop folder) and save the DB as usual yet the changes would not show in the DB (for example when I started a career or a single race etc.)

However, I can still edit my actual career as usual by finding it in the weekly saves and editing it.

Theoretically, every time I start a new career or race I could edit it by saving my edited database somewhere and then simply overwriting the career's database, but this is impractical and only a temporary solution.

I have also attempted to make new databases, something I have successfully achieved several times in the past, but also that keeps failing, with the DB's I create always being the same as the original copyright-induced database (with riders such as Kittou and Civendish etc).

Is there anyways of solving this issue? Why did my database editing work for several weeks then suddenly stop? Why can I still edit my save games but not the actual database as a whole? Is it something to do with steam?

Thanks
(BTW, I have scoured the PCMDaily forum and attempted everything I could find there for this sort of issue, but to no avail)

Well have you tried another editor? What about temporarily calling the new db another way, moving the old one to another folder and then renaming the new one?

I have tried Laachi's, Fast Editor and the official editor.
Nothing seems to work.

The database is actually saving - as in, whenever I return to it, it shows my saves, it just doesn't show in the game.
I'm not sure if, for some reason, I now to to make the saves somewhere else.

I have been saving in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\408760/77422... (Inside 77422... is where the official release database, the jersey folder, the stages folder, the preview pic is etc...)
This used to work, but for some reason it no longer does.
For creating my own database, I have tried to save everywhere, including the standard my documents/mod save, but that also doesn't work.

And now, suddenly, 24 hours after making the changes, they show up on my database in the game, though I haven't touched my database since then. No idea why.
So, I then go and make more changes and, once again, these changes DON'T show up.
Now I am very confused.
Why was there a delay?
(Also, the last time I changed my database, as a test I made Cavendish 84 on mountains and cobbles, so I now have a near invincible Cav in my database Embarassed )

You may want to put your database inside of your documents\pcm 17\mod\*new folder with whatever name you want to give it*.
