Hello all,
I started to create my first race in stage editor. It will be Tour de Serbie (Tour of Serbia) UCI 2.2 Race. I made most of works for first stage, only I need to put start and finish.
So start and finish are in the same place, is it possible to make it and in stage editor?
Second question: About wind. What mean: wind force, wind direction. Is wind force how much strong can be wind, wind direction - from how many direction can be wind?
Third question: Region Gameplay. What is UpHillSprint, TimeGap, Gene_f_Mountan?

Great to see you working on this! I have no clue as I never did stage making, but it would be great if a stage maker could help out here. Keep it up

1. Start and finish line can definitely be in the same place, just place both in the stage on top of each other.
2. Wind force doesn't always determine the exact strength of the wind but more if you set it as a high number it means there is a higher chance of having high wind than if it's a low number. Wind Direction is the direction of the wind, but I don't fully understand that one myself.
3. Uphill sprint is if the sprint or the hill stat should play into the sprint, if the final kilometre is mostly flat or downhill set it to a low amount but the steeper it is the higher number you should make it.
Time Gap I guess effects how big the time gaps between groups are (not 100% certain on this though) generally you don't need to touch this though.
Gene_f_mountain, used to be how the ratio of hill/mountain usage on inclines within the stage, so if there was a 0.4 ratio it would mean that all climbs on the stage would be 60% based on hill and 40% based on mountains. You can generally decide this based on the terrain of the stage and if the hills or mountains in the route are more important to the final result. However, this likely has no impact in PCM17 because the hill/mountain system has been revamped, so you can probably just ignore this as well.
Good Luck with your stages!

In some cases it makes sense to touch it. In stages with hill top finishes the gaps between the riders are very small. In those stages I would set "Time Gaps" on 3. That means that every time gap of 3 or more seconds will be considered in the stage result. If you don't do this there will be no very small time gaps. However those time gaps often decide the outcome of stage races without big mountains like Tour Down Under.

Thank you for answers guys.
But I have another problem
Well, first stage start in one city then go to another and come beck to first city. In first city riders need to make 3 circles and then is finish where is start of race. When I place start in count from 80km not from 0km.
How profile looks before adding start
How profile looks after adding start

You'll need to have at least 2 km of road between the start of your route and the start of the race. Otherwise the SE will just pick the next occasion you pass that location.

Adding a short bit of route (or an extra lap) before the startline should do. That does mean that you'll have to rebuild your route from scratch again though.

You can't add route before the beginning unfortunately. I know the pain
I recommend kicking bad route slope by smoothening the slopes. Selecting two roadpoints simultaneously (CTRL+click) and then pressing CTRL+M will smoothen the slopes between the two points.
For road overlap, you'll need to move the way the corner runs. Every road point runs between two blue points, connected by red lines. By moving either of these points, the corner is changed. By trial and error, you can then ensure that the road overlap goes away. It may take a little while, but once you get how things are supposed to look it'll become easier every time, though even then it can still be a slightly frustrating process

If it's a loop, it might be possible to add it. I can't explain it in detail right now, but one can try to select a flag where you want to change the route and then add a new point. This will make the route incorrect, but once you've added the whole loop correctly, it should reappear with the loop added where you started from (the initial flag selected).
