They need to be converted with a simple re-export of the zcts files in the PCM 17 editor

Luckily there's a mass export function in the PCM17 Stage Editor. You'll just need the zcts files for the stages you want to convert, and then you can work on that. It will take a while, but it all runs in the background.

That's probably because you see the zces/cds files, which are used in the game itself. For conversion/export of stages you'll need the zcts files. Cyanide does not supply these, only stagemakers on the forum do that. You can check the threads in the stages sections of PCM15/16 for that, and in some cases the stages are in the Stage DB.

They work. 'Fine' however, is a stretch. The AI doesn't really actually work, so you can't attack or something like that.

I have downloaded "Cym ITA Historical Variants" which includes all World Tour Stages 2010-2016 (for PCM 2017).
You have to subscribe to the Steam Workshop in order to get it:

No problems with AI noted so far, played 2010 TdF and all works fine! |

That's because they've been converted to PCM 17, not because of some coincidence.
