PCM on USB

Hi all
I have pcm15 via steam installed on A W10 machine.
I have to go abroad for work and I copied steam and Some games on A USB drive to use on my work laptop.
Every game but PCM works. He is having problems with the activation key. This was done on my own machine and A hardware id for that machine was created.
Any ideas if I Could solve this somehow?

Have you tried installing PCM from scratch instead of booting the copy you have on your USB? It should be doable, since it's in your steam library.

Yeah matt17br is right. You can't get game from USB. Games isn't installed only at one path, usually programs have more then 1 path where they put some information. Your solution is to login into your Steam account, and install game. That's will work Smile If you don-t want to install games to your Busines laptop then buy some external HDD or try to install games to USB.

I would ask all the people from the Balkan to contact me so that we can create our community.

Ok thanks. I know about certain Paths fe save games and cfg files which are stored somewhere else. Works for all games but pcm.
But anyway thanks alot

I found the solution. I installed steam and the games on my personal laptop and copied the data onto A USB stick
Then I installed Steam and pcm on my worklaptop. Booted up the game an was able to play it.
Then I deleted the game and steam. But A registry key was made.
Booted steam from the usb drive and it worked.
Sure there are traces of the game on the laptop but not directly visible in the programms section of Windows
