Guatemala, Hong Kong and Iran were all put together for a hilly National Championships course, where anyone could take the glory at the end.



Ho-Ting Kwok (MJE) was the only rider to attack on the stage, and had to put up with a very lonely rider if he wanted to take home the Hong Kong National Jersey.



He would never be seen again by the main peleton, and comfortably took the victory on the day for Meiji team.



The peleton stayed within the timelimit without any assistance from the Neutral Service Team, and it would be Hossein Nateghi (IND) who would just get the better of Behnam Khalilikhosroshani (CPM) for the Iranian Road Race Title.



The Guatemalan Champion was not as obvious at first, finishing way down in the main group, but it would be Manuel Oseas Rodas Ochoa (AZT) who would be first across the line.

The Time Trial came the day after the Road Race and there were 3 clear favourites from each nations, so the question was whether things will play out as expected.



Ho-Ting Kwok (MJE) was the first favourite to have confirmed, and the new Road Champion doubled up with a comfortably TT victory. Ki Ho Choi (ORK) would be his nearest rival at 39" down.



We would see another double champion in Guatemala, as Manuel Oseas Rodas Ochoa (AZT) would take the TT crown. More than 1'29" would give him the title ahead of Jhonnatan De Leon (CHI)



Finally, we ended with Iran, where Arvin Moazemi (SSC) would make up for the disappointment of losing the Road Race title by riding to the Time Trial National Jersey. Like the Guatemalan race, he was very rarely threatened, and took the victory by nearly 2'00" over the New RR Champion Behnam Khalilikhosroshani (CPM)
