The Finland National Championships is one of those great races where every rider rides for the same team, fortunately for the sake of sporting tension they’ve been split up into different groupings to work together. pcmdaily.com/files/Micros16/evo.png Kulppi will ride in pcmdaily.com/files/Micros16/evo.png Evonik colours, while there are three teams each with one of their best puncheurs, with pcmdaily.com/files/Micros16/vad.png Vastaranta and pcmdaily.com/files/Micros16/vad.png Paajanen the clear favourites.

We’re all surprised to see the break have a 15 minute lead as they reach the flamme rouge riding next to each other, watching each other and not wanting to launch the sprint too early!

This might be a better race then expected, as pcmdaily.com/files/Micros16/vad.png Halme is 7 seconds faster than pcmdaily.com/files/Micros16/vad_fin.png Pökälä at the first check and extends his lead to 15 seconds at the next! He finishes with a time of 1h19’39” and can only wait now.
