Cant go to next day

So i got the message that some equipment i have researched was finished testing, i went to the equipment page manually and pressed to extend research by 10 day, but now i cant get the message about the research finishing to go away and therefor i cant go to next day.
Any help would be appreciated, no races on my calender so manually editing savegame to go to next day(if that is even possible?) can also be a solution...
