This isnt really a ug i guess. But after youve done a few seasons i pro cycling mode i start recognize a common trend with the other riders. They ONLY train their speciality. Which obviously become a problem later on. Examples are like a sprinter having 84 sprinting but 68 flat. This in my opinion makes it a bit unrealistic. Shouldnt the AI and the rider development be a bit more overall? Hope some of you guys understand what i mean. Happy for all replies
This was an issue already in previous versions of the game.
I made the database for PCM2015 to minimise that effect. I believe my solutions have been included to later PCMdaily databases.
If you have some experience with editors I can tell you that gene_ilist_VP column in STA_type_rider is responsible for AI controlled riders development, at least it was in PCM2015 according to my observations. This is where I made the changes to improve this aspect.
If you don't use any database with those fixes, you'll be encountering this kind of problems. Yes, it shouldn't look like that but Cyanide didn't bother to make it working properly, apparently.
It doesn't show all the values, I'm afraid. It would take too much effort to show all of the values in pictures.
If you want to find out what exactly the values are, go here: https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=42943
download the .cdb of the newest version and open it with editor.
I think the order is exactly the same as in the game so you are correct with it.
Yeah, I tried 4 and I think it works. As you can see in the picture I posted, I used 4 to determine prologue progression for stage racers and hill progression to sprinters. I've made some tests about long-term skills progression and I was satisfied with results. I didn't try 1.
But there is also one other thing this column seems to influence. It's your own rider training types in Be a pro mode. If you edit values in this column, you'll see the arrows of predicted progression in Be a pro change for given type of training. 5 is 3 arrows, 3 is 2 arrows, 2 is 1 arrow. 4 is not represented graphically. I didn't test how this affects your progression in be a pro, because I've made the database mainly for career mode.
