A thread for strange AI behavior.
Please post here when you notice weird AI behaviour. Collecting it at one place makes it easier for Cyanide to solve.
Template:
- Is it in career mode/stage race mode/single stage mode?
- When does it happen in the replay (KMs remaining)
- What happens there?
- What would you like to see/What do you think would be "real" cycling?
All posts not following the template will be deleted, so please no arguing. If there is really any need there are other threads for it.

- Is it in career mode/stage race mode/single stage mode? CAREER - COBBLES
- When does it happen in the replay (KMs remaining) <15 KMs
- What happens there? After the last cobbles/hills the favourites all sit together and stop racing. They relax at 30 km/h and it's easy for the others to come back in the race. It's a bug that was already there in PCM 14 and 15.
- What would you like to see/What do you think would be "real" cycling? Riders in the break riding at full effort...

Uplaod your replay??
What fuckin replay since one of the stupid pathetic updates the replay feature has basically been removed other thana pathetic glimpse at the stage winner, there is now no replay,, Do cyandide think removing a really nice feature like this instead of fixing it and improving it is a good idea?
They are being fucking lazy at our expense.....and I have decided to boycott buying any future PCM games....they think they can what they like they can think again, stupid dumb lazy assholes
- The AI stops following the attacks and does not attempt to reel them in despite being in control of much stronger riders.
- The AI should either follow the attacks or do its utmost to reel them in.
Replay is attached.
General notes:
This issue happens on almost any hilly and flat stage with downhill finishes as well as many hilly and flat stages with flat finishes. It can also happen in mountain stages with similar finishes.
The attack at 7km remaining is obviously attempting to exploit the AI by blocking the Movistar riders with another rider, but the AI should still reel it back in, and as the attack at 4 km remaining shows, they probably would have stopped following anyway as soon as a small gap was created.

It's about ftiness levels in be a pro mode.
I started as a northern classics rider in be a pro and in my 3rd year i'm a pretty good contender for the classics.
Now i'm at etixx quick step and all the good cobblestone riders are completely out of shape. It makes no sense that Lampaert ( 80 cobblestones ) and Van keirsbulck ( 78 cobblestones ) are bad and average in shape at the Ronde Van Vlaanderen.
It's the biggest goal of the year ( together with Paris Roubaix ) and they are pretty useless this way.
So the goals and fitness schedules should probably be rewatched, because this makes no sense, and it really makes the odds of my rider winning the race alot smaller.

If I read this correctly this was your first season with etixx right? As far as my experiences go, I can say that goals and respective forms are pretty random in be a pro - meaning that it might look different next season. I thought it was a bit annoying at first, but lately I've come to appreciate it, because it adds a rather incalculable element to an otherwise comparatively foreseeable game.
I am playing pro cyclist mode on hard difficulty and when i attack in the last km's even in flat stages they don't try to follow me and i beat sprinters like i am Cancellara on his prime.

Known issue unfortunately and the main reason I can't get myself to actually play PCM, Cyanide doesn't seem to have fixed this in PCM 17 either unless they have done some sudden progress in the last 2 weeks.
