Can someone explain to my how I can add a free rider to my team via Lachi's Editor? My game is in december and the young rider I want didn't respond to my offer ingame yet.
I have made the following steps but it didn't work:
- Opened my database and the table DYN_contact_cyclist
- I have overwritten the last line with IDcontract_cyclist (= 4444): Changed the cyclist ID and team to the correct number and correct team id, the wage to 2500, the contract year to 2018 and checked the box on gene_b_active_contract. Other boxes not checked.
- I opened the table and changed the team id from 119 (free riders) to my team id. I also changed the fkIDcontract to 4444 and copied some other numbers from a different rider.
- Saved the changed database
- Exported to cdb (different file name because a space was not allowed)
This is how I did it but the game crashes when I click on the player ingame. Can anyone explain to me what I do wrong? Or is there a guide for this change? Could't find more than 1 line about this subject.
I tried overwriting an existing line because adding a new one didn't work.
The best thing for me would be an instruction on how to do this in Lachi's editor. I now succeeded to add the rider to my team (a few modifications), but still it doesn't work the way it should work. Now my screens say that my best coach is training 8 riders, but this should be 9 with the new guy.
Is there any instruction how to add a rider who doens't have a team yet to your squad?
My editor (as well as any other editor which uses the database extraction tool from Cyanide) has problems opening save files. But if the extraction went well, there are no further problems.
All problems mentioned above are caused by wrong editing. Generally speaking, a rider has to be linked to the team in DYN_cyclist and in DYN_contract_cyclist.
BTW: You can add a new line by filling the empty line at the bottom of the list.
BTW2: I thought that the latest version of my editor allows spaces in the file name. But it is recommended to save the changes using a different file name anyway in case something went wrong while editing.

I think I made a mistake by editing too much. Is there a manual of your editor or some other explanation about the field in de DYN_Cyclist tab? I my case I want to add a regenerated rider (Paulo Weber) to my team. Paulo was generated by the game in october 2016 and I an now in January 2017. He did not reply on my offer before January 1st 2017.
I think the least I should do is add a contract (already done on DYN_contract_cyclist) but which columns should I adjust on DYN_Cyclist? At least fkIDteam and fkIDcontract. A few colums which might be obliged are gene_i_size, gene_i_weight, gene_i_age_decline, prerace_i_cyclist, current_f_stage_score, gene_i_dossard, fkIDstate_roster, gene_ilist_fkIDfavorite_races, fkIDworkplan, bit_i_contrat_preference, gene_i_ptmap (and optional gene_sz_photo).
Sorry but I don't play PCM 2016 so I cannot give exact instructions. But you are right about fkIDteam and fkIDcontract.
As far as I know, there are no explanations of the fields in the database. I could not write a manual about the meaning of the fields because I only programmed the editor, not the game.
There are several guides about how to add a rider, but considering since pcm 15 the young riders are already in the dyn cyclist tab and not in dyn young cyclist, you should just edit his team and contract, unless I'm missing something about your issue.
